No.27 No one can possibly achieve success in the world by conforming to conventional practices and conventional ways of thinking.

这个世界上没有人能够靠墨守陈规（行动或思维上的）而获得成功。
The express train today can faster than you ever imagine, the smaller a CMOS chip is extremely striking and man can step on the moon. Everything becomes possible which seems impossible yesterday. There is nothing we can do, but the thing we can not imagine. Conforming to convention seems untimely today, indeed, but we can not throw all the conventional things away.

First of all, the conventional practices and conventional ways of thinking always limited our idea which will made us no break through. Firstly, Copernicus, Polish astronomer, best known for his astronomical theory that the sun is at rest near the center of the universe, and that the earth, spinning on its axis once daily, revolves annually around the sun. This is called sun-centered system .This theory was contradict with the earth-centered theory, which is the dominate theory at that time. After many years this great theory became a truth and finally accepts by the publics. Science, always need unconventional way, for example, quantum mechanics, which is a human’s bold and great creation, work out the problem that classical mechanics can not solve. The every changing world need us use the unconventional ways of thinking to make progress.

In addition, some conventional practices and ways of thinking are hardly to accommodate the brand-new world. The conventional ways tell us: it is dangerous to be the first one, however, in the new society to be normal means fail. Further more, the conventional ways teach us that it is well to conform to the mass ideas, nevertheless, the special characteristics is the significant factor lead to success. We can no longer get a high score competition by the well form with out good thinking, but a work with the idealistic sparks will get the admiration. In conclusion, in the contemporary society that very different from the past, we need the new characteristic to guide us to the successful way.





On the other hand, it is, apparently, that we can not only pursue the unconventional things, the elite of the conventional ways of thinking and practice must be preserved. Poems, for instance, the formula can be well complied, Keats is famous for the delicate rhythm for the sonnet and epics. Or the conventional practices can help us avoid fails in the similar circumstances. The virtues like: help others, respects the elders, honesty, etc. can not be neglect. Then, it is a wise choice to combine the conventional things with the new things. Den Xiaoping, a great Chinese politician, combined traditional socialism planned economy with the market economy creatively; make a significant contribution to the China’s economy construction.

All in all, due to the above mentioned words we can draw the conclusion that it is necessary to use the creative way of thinking in today’s rapidly changing world in some extent, but, it is equally important that to conform the elite conventional ways of thinking and conventional practices, and try to protect them.
