After analysing the statement, I find that his claim consists of two aspects. First is people’s attitudes and interests can be revealed by the way they look, dress and act. Second is we can judge a society’s ideas and values by observing the appearance and behaviour of its people. From my viewpoint, I side with the speaker’s idea for following reasons.(既然提到following reasons最好概括列一下)
The appearance and behaviour of people are the information they send to the out side world revealing what are they thinking about. It is no doubt that characters exert a deep influence on people’s dressing style as well as attitudes and principles（这个是否和interest是类似的含义？） lead to their every act. Granted（这个是什么意思？表示假如，那后面应该加个主语） is so stingy that he will never invest on extravagant clothes and Greek philosopher Diogense dare refuse Alexandria’s help as a result of his principle. Francis Bacon has said: Histories make men wise; poets witty, the mathematics subtile; natural philosophy deep; moral grave; logic and rhetoric able to contend. As well as the influence subjects make on the characters, characters contribute to the way people look, dress and act. （举得的这两个例子好像和你的观点关系不是很大？？）
Based on the law pointed out above, attitudes and interests can be judged from people’s appearance and acts conversely. On account of the cowboy hat and tidy suit, a cowboy from Dallas and a securities analyst from wall street are easily to be identified. And during the employment of every company, HRs（？？全称） make decisions by the observation of applicants which mainly consists of looks and acts. Microsoft’s vice-president Steven failed in his first interview of Microsoft. In stead of being disappointed with it, Steven was enlightened by the examination question---the future of software. He wrote a letter to Microsoft which was sent to Bill Gates finally to express his thanks. His sincere act won him a job in Microsoft several months later. And the subsequent behaviour of Steven proved that Microsoft made a correct decision.（这里例子是否有些勉强，开始面试的时候失败，这不恰好说明通过外表和行为不能观察到一个人的内心，而且题目是说反映一个人的态度和兴趣）
Applying this law to the society, appearance and behaviour of people of the society also reveals its ideas and values. Considering the famous spartan（大写）, their excellent skill of fighting incredible patience are the consequence of courageous and surprising perseverance. With respect to this ethnic group’s characters, the word “spartan” now also means resolute in the face of pain or adversity. There is an other example that may give us more directly impression on the law.

Denying the principle that everyone is born equally, slavers treat their slaves as goods and machines which reveals the values and ideas of that society.
后面例子是不是和文章的论点关系不是太紧密？奴隶制度，否定人权，但事实上美国的立国之本就是人生来平等，这也是最后为什么废除农奴制度。
To sum up, I support the speaker’s idea that it is related between appearance outside and value inside either when it comes to a person or a society. The appearance and behaviour are the expression of the values and attitudes to some extent.
