The speaker asserts that education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. It has merit from some angles. And I agree insofar as that student’s interests and needs are very important for their study. But the speaker seem to fail to take into account the fact that what is really purpose of education, and it is impossible, in the modern, education have been design satisfied the need of each students. In short, the speakers present a oversimplified view about which education’s style will be truly effective.

No one can deny the fact that interests are best teacher. A good case in this point is experience of mine. I’m interesting for math and physics. I think that solution for hard problems about math and physics is an interesting thing that I can get a lot of gratification from this process. So, I always can obtain a good score which also can motivate my interest. This is a good circle. Therefore, if the school can be start a special class to meet some people who are interesting for certain field would be a good thing.But in other hand, if a school just open some course like my mentioned in above, such as just open math course or physics course and don’t open history, English, philosophy and so far, that would be a tragic thinking.

Another reason I disagree this statement is because the purpose of education is to provide the students with fundamental skill and knowledge and provide them with values system of the country, and at the some time, to preserve and develop the country’s traditional culture. Therefore, if the education just meets and satisfied individual need that would be a lost education style for any country and people.

Although I cannot point out how to enhance efficiency of education, but in my view, education should be face to all students, according to different country and different stage should be different ways of education. Just satisfied a few of student’s need and interesting, absolutely, is not purpose of education and then cannot enlarge efficiency of education.

Form what has been discussion above we may can drawing the conclusion that the speaker’s assertion confused the education’s purpose therefore....
