In the reading passage, the writer contends that people reading less literature is bad for the reading public, for the culture in general, and for the future of literature itself. However, in the lecture, the professor cast doubt on the reading passage, as discussed below.

To begin with, according to the passage, the decline in literature reading is unfortunate as a result of nothing but literature stimulates our intellectual. Nevertheless, the professor indicates that books like history, science, etc. encourage our literature either, consequently, reading less literature doesn't necessarily mean bad for reading public.

In addition, unlike the writers' opinion that people prefer entertainment to reading literature lower the culture in general, the professor argues that the culture is ongoing, and there are all sorts of culture form, it is exaggerating to say that the fact people listen to music and watch a movie instead of reading a novel or poem is harm for the culture.

Finally, referring to the future of literature, the writer raises the issue that the current of reading less literature negative the author of literature as well as the future of literature itself, in contrast, the professor maintains that the bad situation of the literature derive from their author indeed. Then she substantiates her contention that
literatures in today are difficult to understand than they used to be, and they doesn't comes more important.


To sum up, the writer and the professor conflicts with each other in whether the less reading of literature has negative effects or not.

YC的细节和点都很全,学习了~赞一个。只是文章好像有点长~~从YC的文章可以看出YC语言功底还是很不错的,所以建议YC适当脱离模版,用自己的话概括,这样文章一定会简短很多的,有时候模版会限制我们的思维~个人觉得小作文只要观点明确,细节准确就好~good job~加油~O(∩_∩)O~
既然选择了这条路,就必须走完~快乐的走完~
