Quite a few individuals claim that the ability of writing and reading is less crucial than before. They point out that other skills like computer play an increasing role. On the other hand, most individuals, like me, strongly disagree with it. As a tradition, writing and reading possess their benefits. In the following paragraphs, i will explain several main reasons.

       In the first place, nothing is more vital than reading. As we all known, an fundamental way enhance your integrated skills is reading an ocean of materials. Secondly, it is easy to find that reading is the sourse of other abilities like writing, speaking. For instance, prepared for finishing an academic essay about culture, students need to read an army of materials about the multinational cultures. Then students are able to perfectly finish their essay. What is more, if you look at the entrepreneurs in the famous internationl enterprises, the number of books they read will amaze you. Also, according to the research in U.S., the average number of books people read every day in developed country is higher than that in developing country. Therefore, i hold my viewpoint that reading is still neccesary nowadays, although several folks hold the opposite point.

        Morever, another indispensable skill you can not ignore is writing. And its importance is equal to reading. Firstly, nothing can detaily express individuals' personal idea except writing. Meanwhile, the thoughts of folks can be expressed more deeply. In fact, it's not diffcult to discover that writing is basic in each work of society. For example, lawyers must develop a high degree of skill at written communications. For language is the most vital tool of a lawyer, and lawyers must learn to express themselves clearly adn concisely. Hence, not only do the reading play an essencial role to improve personal skills, but also writing is an vital part.
