"The absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare."

While the statements conceals that choices always exist, even when facing difficulties and problems, I strongly agree with it, since mostly, people select to reject any choices or cannot see the solutions at that moment.

Firstly, as many put, life is all about choices. People choose the way they dress, friends they communicate with, and the lives they live. At childhood, boys select toy guns and soldiers to fight with each other, while girls play with Barbie dolls all the time. When it comes to school, even a child decides his/her own way to learn knowledge and finish the homework. Later there comes independent thinking and self-determination would form one who he or she really is. The moment one learn to make his/her own mind, he/she to some extent grow up to become a real person in society. In short, every single person live their own life by determining among a variety of choices.

Secondly, in some difficult situations, while at first glance there seems no ways, the choices, or the solutions are around the corner later. What one need may be time for thorough consideration, the determination from the bottom of one's heart and the inspiration, which mainly generated from daily life. And the latter two are formulated gradually by time. For instance, there is forever a period of time of bottleneck in the development and improvement of oneself. To make any breakthrough, continuous attempts and plenty of time are expected, and patience is thus necessary for advancement. In short, time is one of the best remedies for seeking choices.

Thirdly, even if one's efforts may be limited, and thus comes the requirement of time, some outsiders' perspective would be more effective in harsh conditions. In comparison with that one would come up with a novel idea within a week, a group of people would find a dozen of various solutions in two days. Because different people have different standpoints and opinions, by communicating and cooperating can they make a difference. Therefore, when getting stuck in some troubles, consulting friends and families is a desirable way finding out some potential methods towards the problems in a short time.

Finally, in some circumstances, people reject any choice that is against law or their moral standards, thus leaving no other options. When one might be late for school or work, he would not take the rise going through red lights for saving a little time. Instead, he/she apologize to his/her teacher or boss. Similarly, the poor would rather die for poverty, rather than surviving through stealing, robbery or kidnapping. If the choices are out of the lines, they are no more options for just people.

In conclusion, always, there are selections for people. Even in a hard time, no choices found, either they are on the way, which means more time or turning to others, or they are beyond one's acceptance.
