Which is more important,book knowledge or experience?



The heated discussion over the issue that which one, the knowledge gained from books or picked up in experience,is more significant has been disputed for such a long time.Although,from ancient ages to nowadays,people continuously obtain unknown knowledge from books,an old going says:"Not everything that learned is contained in books.".And,I indeed support the opinion that experience improves in a great measure of time.
First of all,the principle of our brains that how to store knowledge is accumulating.Obviously,gathering tips from a successful professor or a wonderful speech from famous business man will impress deeply,straightforwardly and efficiently,including of the knowledge as dry as a chip in the books.So,the face-to-face way of teaching continues as time goes by,because of the students in the class can not only understand the book more intuitively but also get the things out of the class form the teacher, like the cases they go though themselves ,not written in books.At the same time,a survey,concerned about"what you use more,experience in daily life or the knowledge in books",shows that the later one is more practical and frequently.
Further more,the knowledge from experience also have timeliness.In other words,people always improve themselves unconsciously and subconsciously with developing technology,policy and circumstances.The MBI class,for example,will regularly invite some momentous characters to give lectures about the latest situations or changes in some particular field ,discussions on the problems they have suffering, share of the exclusive method and so on and so forth,which can not be published immediately.
Nevertheless,gathering the knowledge in the books,indeed,is a popular way,for the extents are classical,methodical,and scientific.Moreover,from psychological aspects,people who always do things with experience are over self-confident that they occasionally ignore complex details.However,the absolutely precise book knowledge actually is the base of one's ability and experience,especially in primary stage.Also,people could look up for whatever they need in books ,ranging from ancient time to now,at home and abroad,covering almost every possible sphere.So,the emphasize for the knowledge in the books is still necessary ,which a majority of people nod to .
At the same time,the knowledge form experience and books effect each other in actual fact.If we travel to a place of historical interests,it is better for us to seek interrelated materials,for background and original.Likewise,unless putting the knowledge into practise,we will never obtain the ability to operate the computer.
Anyway,the conclusion that the knowledge from experience influences more can be easily made.As far as I am concerned,students,nurses,soldiers,farmers,sales and everyone else will receive more form the knowledge gained form experience  more than the knowledge form books,no matter what kind of knowledge it is.

No one would say that:"I have never watched the television before."these days,no matter in urban or rural areas.We people,absolutely,have been accustomed to watch projects on television about news,sports,business,healthy,music and so on and so forth.It is said that television is the most significant invention in the last century, even insteading of traditional medium like newspaper and telegraph which both improved people's communication a lot before.If there was no creation of the television,nearly a quarter of people in the world can not imagine how to spend the spare time.
Television influence people's daily life,greatly and incessantly,in almost every aspect,unconsciously and subconsiously .A business man,for instance,wakes up at 7:00 with the morning brief introduction about today's vital events and the weather to decide what to wear today,maybe bringing the umbrella or not.At the break of his work,he would perhaps watch the programs on the market of the stocks or the official claims about the latest business policies,which would benefit his work more or less.After working for a whole day ,he can also as cooks dinner as enjoys the television drama programs he is fond of in a relaxed condition.In addition,he may fortunately picks up some practical tips about how to lose weight in a health program,or how to take better care of his car by a motor talk show.In a word,he could not gets conditioned to the life without television even or a day,not exaggeratedly.
So,first and foremost,television becomes the most crucial media,with the steps of the developmet of the multivariate society.Nearly three quarter of the families own television nowadays and half of them regard watching television everyday is a necessary factor.People are addicted to the music videoes,movies,and sports games,thinking that television indeed varies their life brilliantly.Besides,watching television is a wonderful timing to make families together,to share each other's experiences today or have a discussion over the heated issue happened these days.Last but not the least, television is an official way of policies,to gathering the trend our government will make,like get some ideas of the way how Bush want to protect the US from terrorists.
On the other hand,television simultaneously bring ome negative influence.Some spend overdue time on the television with eating junk food continuously,even become the so-called coach potatoes,which is a desperate harm for health.Moreover,children ,not having the ability to choose the appropriate program,can be easily misdirect by some extremely words or movies of force.
Anyway,the advantages of the television out weigh the disadvantages.
If we take the prosper precautions,such as imposing strict medium standards,the whole society stands to benefit.

Should universities finance students' sports activities equally as libraries


Nowadays,some students from universities make a recommend that universities can set a special fund to support the sports activities the same as the libraries.It's a wonderful idea for me and the students which enjoy the sports game a lot.Actually,the mount of the students which regard sports activities the best-loved hobby is no less than that of the library.At the same time,this fund will not cost a lot but benefit much that not only the student but also the office of the university will give a warm welcome,if this proposal come to realized.
Sports activities will bring a great quantity of advantages for the students unconsciously and subconsciously.First and foremost,the health of the students who always take sports activities will improve continuously as the time goes by.Even one of the public service advertisement says that:"Sports more,life longer."Moreover,having sports activities,such as football ,basketball,or tennis game, is surely a fantastic way to vary the spare time,especially after a whole day of the affliction of the indigestible physics,math,and so on and so forth.Last but not least,it is the spirit,like fortitude,cooperation,and persistence,influences deeply who often play sports games.The acts of the heroes from the Olympic games encourage people when they suffer from difficulties desperately.Liu Xiang from China,for instance,makes people resolutely believe that nothing is impossible after he won the champion of the man's 100-meters tabbing in the 2004 Olympic games,before which the players from Asia have never won.
Also,the universities which emphasize the sports activities, like regularly holdding sports meetings, consider it is a sweet cake too.To make a diversification university,the sports activities make a lumping contribution.Besides,the more sports activities the university has,the more harmonious the circumstances are,for the students there are energetic,optimistic and healthy.In addition,the awards the students win will lead a more famous university to the public.
However,the inadequate sports activities will harm kill the students' time,energy and even the health.Students who addict to the sports games may dilapidate their school work,if they spent nearly all the time on it.On the other hand,they probably have less and less time to communicate with their classmates,relativies,and friends,apart form their teammates.So,the finance to sports activities may mislead the students,if it not in a decent quality and quantity.
Anyway,comparing the advantages and the disadvantages,the potential benefits of setting a particular fund to suppuot sports activities weigh the risks.Therefore,I insist the universities should give a mount of money equally as the library.And,if my university can really make this dream can true,I will really appreciate it.
