I agree with this statement.In any cases,interest is tremendous promotion to the development of science,art,literature and so forth.If one scholar or researcher tries to learn and acquire knowledges simply with the motivation of making big contributions to the society,he might find it difficult to be devoted in any field or achieve big findings.

Interest makes one person conscious of where he is going,and it provides him the vigor on the journey.Many famous and significant discoveries' emergence are from the scientist' or sholars' interest,which supports them with tremendous power,and the power sometimes is unimaginable.For instance,the well-known female scientist--Curie,who was the only person rewarded by Nobel Prizes twice in history,made great contribution to the humankind.With no doubt, her achievements came from nowhere but her strong desire of uncovering the mystery of science.Her love in chemistry kept her in the small laboratory for many years and finally she found the element--radium,undiscovered in science field before.Interest is something pure that makes one pursue what he loves,and it is often the love brings society new discoveries and makes contributions.So,scholars and researcher should protect their interest in unknown areas,because only interest can lead them the right way to knowledge and there is no exception.

On the other hand,scholars and researchers may feel exhausted or confused on their way studying and discovering.The way to unknown world is never smooth and numerous people fell down and failed when they were near the final triumph of discovering.The famous scientist in the field of agriculture--YuanLongping,who invents the hybridized rice,met with so many difficult and boring problems before his reputation was established .He once lacked fund to do experiments,he had no space to finish and confirm his presumption,and few people held a positive attitude toward his research.Those difficulties were with him for decades but he was never defeat because he is purely a scientist being interested in what he is doing and no matter when he meets with difficulty,he gains endless motivation from interest.

However,today the pure motivation---interest is rare in fields such as science, art,and education.Scientists are eager to gain achievements so that they will be authoritative and the whole society will appreciate him and sometimes their names are kept in history.Artists become more realistic and they are trying to create something valuable in the market so that the riches are willing to purchase and collect their works.Educationists are more and more keen on marketing their education,and unfortunately this trend is becoming more popular.I am afraid that scholars and researchers in these fields will find it more and more difficult to make some progress or improvements,because lucre is never the key to knowledge--something humankind real needs.

To conclude,not sipmply scholars and researchers,all people in the world are changing with the society development.We may be more realistic and more efficient,but we should never forget what  really promotes the development in technology,theories and our living.Without the real motivation in discovering, technology will stop moving , our living gets no improvement,and our ideology lags .
