Do you agree or disagree that scientists should be responsible for the negative impacts of their discoveries?

Nowadays scientists are more respected and better protected by the society, actually there are laws like the patent to prevent the wealth and authority of those scientists. But questions come that should scientists be responsible for the negative impacts of their inventions, as their inventions including the vehicles, the bombs that really do something harmful to us. From my perspective, I think scientists do not need be responsible for the negative impacts of their inventions.

First of all, the original purposes of those inventions are to help human live a better life. Scientists devote their time and hard-working to provide more effective tools or more convenient facilities. So scientists should not be blamed for their devotion. For instance, one of the greatest scientists, Albert Einstein, who create the amazing atom bomb, was once criticized for his invention, since in the Second World War, the atom bomb was used as a weapon and caused countless death and injuries. Meanwhile, Einstein himself is regretted of the fact that his creation had made so many people hurt. However, when he first decided to invent this thing, he just wanted to improve the scientific situation at that time, actually if the atom bomb be corrected used, it will do many things beneficial to us. So in my opinion, it’s the way people use that invention rather than the invention itself should take responsibility to the negative consequences.

Second, if scientists should take responsibilities for their creations, chances are that they will find it hard to concentrate on their invention work since they will always put some focus on the affects of those discoveries. As a matter of fact, the process of invention allows the scientists to completely devote into what they are doing, but if the thought that the inventions may have negative affects on environment or human, they may find it hard to carry on. Therefore, there may be less and less advanced inventions created and our lives may have to stay to the current situation. As mentioned above, it will disrupt the work of scientists if they should be responsible for their inventions.

Finally, taken the positive affects of those inventions of scientists into account, obviously the positive influences outweigh the negative ones. With these great invention, our daily lives has changed so much, the transportation system, the computer technology or the appearance of modern apartment, all these creations directly facilitate our life. In the other hand, we need new discoveries to help us deal with the negative affects those great inventions leave us such as the environmental contamination problem. So considering what scientists have brought to us, the bad side of their inventions should be neglected.

In a word, scientists should not take responsibility for their creations, for themselves, their motivation to create those things is to make us live better, and for the others, we should realize that the responsibility of the negative affects of inventions may interfere the work of scientists, and besides this, we should always respect what they have done to us since apparently their contribution outweigh their damage to the world.

4.5----Students at university or in college should choose the most difficult classes even if they cannot get top grades (marks) in them

After entering universities, large amounts of optional courses are available for students to choose from, some of students may attend the most difficult classes to obtain knowledge while the others tend to select more accessible courses to get better grades. The latter kind of students are usually blamed for their less devotion into the learning process than those choose the arduous classes. However, from my perspective, I do not consider the behavior like choosing the most difficult courses necessary taken our personal interests, the effective usage of time and our future career into account.

First of all, with the large range of choices of classes in universities, interest towards the class is of equal importance as the difficulties, it is the major force to inspire us keep up with the class, otherwise, classes without the fascinating content or a fantastic professor may cause you to distract concentration on the class. Meanwhile, if one only focus on the difficulty of the courses, and choose his classes of different domains, it may be helpless to his major knowledge. Since we should devote more attention on our major curriculums, it seems not a plausible choice to select the most difficult courses.

Another equally significant aspect is that students should make their usage of time more effectively. The difficult courses obviously will take large part of their time, leaving little free time to gather knowledge and information from other sources. Students should know how to allocate their time reasonably as to fulfill a more meaningful campus life including not only the devotion of study but also the recreational activities, which could help us release from the pressure of studying.

Finally, students should make the choices of classes based on their further development. For example, if one’s pursuit is to achieve academic accomplishment, then those difficulty courses may play great function on them. However, since the majority of us are bound to enter the companies or business domain after graduation, putting too much attention on the puzzles and straits that assigned from difficult courses seems have little meaning to us. More of time should be spent on practical purposes, such as the part-time job, or the chances of internship. Besides, having better grades in classes will benefit our future career since the grades we get in campus will be taken into account by the employers, they actually will not appreciate your courage of taking the difficult courses , what they care is the achievement you have got at campus, and that showed in your scores. So considering our future career, if our desire has nothing to do with the academic research, then we should devote more time to practical activities while try to get better grades in classes.

In a word, too much devotion on difficult classes is not a wise choice since the options of classes we make should be based on our interests, the reasonable allocation of time and our further developments, so taking all those elements into account, I do not think the behavior of choosing the most difficult courses necessary.

4.6作业
Decision making is a principal activity throughout our entire life. We should make judgement like choosing the proper major in college, or select the career objective after graduation. There comes the problem that whether to make these decisions by ourselves or by other people. From my perspective, obviously making judgement on our own is a wiser choice.

First of all, since decision making is a tough activity calls for the combination of self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, past experiences and adequate knowledge, it could provide us the chance of developing all those capabilities in the process of making the decision. For instance, in order to make a correct decision, we may turn to different sources to gain large range of information and gather the useful knowledge into practical use, meanwhile, during the process, we need the courage to finally put that decision into real use, which exert the pressure on us to develop our sense of responsibility to taken the potential failure into account and our self-confidence which are closely related to the courage when we apply the decision into realistic use. So we may make the t conclusion that making the decision by ourselves is beneficial to our development of benign characters.

An equally significant aspect is that making decision by our own can help build the sense of judgement, which directly determines the effectiveness and the exactness of our decisions. The sense of judgement is the fundamental ability lies in our daily life, which we take classes and attend activities to learn for. When we make the decision, we must judge the potential influence, the direct devotion and the possibility to achieve objective of it, all of which calls for the sense of judgement. However, if we make others make the judgement, how can we deal with the other matters in our lives with the immature sense of judgement. So in order to develop the ability of judging, it will be better to make judgement by ourselves.

Finally, we are bound to feel regret after the failures connected to the decision if the judgement is done by the others, nevertheless, if it is us who make the decision, we may just feel a shame but will never regret for it. It seems that as long as we devote our attention and hard-working in the procedure, even it turns out into bad consequence, we will feel appreciated about what we have done, at least we exercise ourselves and gain the significant traits including courage, self-confidence and so forth during the process. So as not to regret for your decision, you ‘d better make it on your own.

In a word, since the decision making process can help us build the benign character needed for our further development like the sense of responsibility, self-confidence while exercise our sense of judgement during the process, besides, it will not turn into regretting situations even if it finally turns out to be disappointing consequence, so based on the beneficial effects I have mentioned above , it is obvious that we should make the decision by ourselves.

Decision making is a principal activity throughout our entire life. We should make judgement(decision judgment还是有区别的) like choosing the proper major in college, or(不是or的关系) select the career objective(什么是career objective) after graduation. There comes the problem that whether(that whether重复) to(不能跟不定式) make these decisions by ourselves or by other people. From my perspective, obviously making judgement on(by) our own is a wiser choice.

First of all, since decision making is a tough activity calls for the combination of self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, past experiences and adequate knowledge, it could provide us the chance of developing all those capabilities in the process of making the decision(TS真长). For instance, in order to make a correct decision, we may turn to different sources to gain large range of information and gather the useful knowledge into practical use, meanwhile, during the process, we need the courage to finally(不顺口) put that decision into real use, which exert the pressure on us to develop our sense of responsibility to taken the potential failure into account and our self-confidence which are closely related to the courage when we apply the decision into realistic use(应该是两个句子,同时你定语从句有问题). So we may make the t conclusion that making the decision by ourselves is beneficial to our development of benign characters.

An equally significant aspect is that making decision by our own can help build the sense of judgement, which directly determines the effectiveness(effect就是名词) and the exactness(accuracy) of our decisions. The sense of judgement is the fundamental ability lies in our daily life, which we take classes and attend activities to learn for(句子有问题). When we make the decision, we must judge the potential influence, the direct devotion and the possibility to achieve objective of it, all of which calls for the sense of judgement. However, if we make(用太多make) others make the judgement, how can we deal with the other matters in our lives with the immature sense of judgement(sense of judgment不是很好吧). So in order to develop the ability of judging, it will be better to make judgement by ourselves.

Finally, we are bound to feel regret after the failures connected to the decision if the judgement is done by the others, nevertheless, if it is us who make the decision, we may just feel a shame but will never regret for it(不一定). It seems that as long as we devote our attention and hard-working in the procedure, even it turns out into bad consequence, we will feel appreciated about what we have done, at least we exercise ourselves and gain the significant traits including courage, self-confidence and so forth during the process(这个句子不能和上个句子放在同一个句子里). So as not to regret for your decision, you ‘d better make it on your own

4.7---The best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide

With the rapid development of industrialization and globalization, nowadays people tend to travel more. So the method they choose to travel seems fairly important at that situation. Some people may prefer having a pleased travel by themselves while others may turn to a group led by a tour guide. From my perspective, it is hard to judge which method is better, actually they may particularly fit in different situations.

First of all, in some conditions, finding a tour guide and a group of companions to lead your travelling is proper when you are in completely strange places. As the tour guide must be familiar with the local language and locations of famous landscapes, it will facilitate our travel process and provide us less problems during the travel. Meanwhile, since you have a group of companion accompanying you, regardless of whether you are strangers or friends, it’s better for your private security, and you may find someone to share the exciting experiences and beautiful sceneries with.
So when travelling to places which are unfamiliar with you, it is more proper to attend a group with a tour guide.

However, when the places you select to travel is not quite strange for you, for instance, it is just somewhere in your motherland that you have never been to there before, maybe have a free tour is a more appropriate choice. Without a tour guide, although it may turn out to be more difficult to find the direct location of the famous sceneries, we are bound to save a lot of money as well as more free time on our journey. Usually attending in a group led by a tour guide allows you to restrict your time and behavior to follow the steps of the group, so you may feel not so free as travelling by yourselves. If you need not take the security or unfamiliarity of the local language into account, travel on your own may seems a more pleasing and comfortable journey.

So based on what I have mentioned above, we should turn to different choices when facing with different situations. On one hand, it is safer and more convenient to have a tour guide led you and your companion, on the other hand, travel without the group and the guide may provide you more flexible time and money which could make you travel more comfortable.

忘举例了,囧。。。
