The author advocates that people should take advantage of limited public sources to support urgent social problem rather than arts. From where I an concerned, I concede that some social pressing problems, such as unemployment, hungry and so on, are needed public resources to solve. However, we cannot ignore ever lasting value of arts to society. Thus, we should call for a balance about public resources between arts and pressing society problems.

Admittedly, more money and more energy should be devoted to social pressing problems. According to Maslow's study, the needs of human can be classified into two categories: deficiency needs and growth needs, the former being the foundation of the latter. Nevertheless, as see the history, such cases like that people were suffered hungry, lost job and the like have not stopping and continuing in today. Although we indeed necessarily need society resources to solve these problems, yet we cannot give up invest development of art so that art turn to be pale just because these urgent cases..

What's more important is, arts itself also can produce economic profits. When arts bring into economic systems, which form as art galleries, odium, theatres, arts become the result of commercialized. While these art construction gradually form a stable system that we can obtain more economic benefits, and need not much for society public patronizing. For instance, one form of arts-film industry-is gradually well-done and considerable revenues like Hollywood. "Avanda” is very hot in November 2009 in film market and has well revenues.
