It is undoubtable (undoubted) that continuously developing high-technology products have brought tremendous benefit for us, especially in our daily life. Take(Taking) television and the Internet as examples, which offers incredible numbers of information in a most conveniently way. However, there has been an ongoing debate on whether understand world events better through reading the newspaper or watching television in recent years. As far as I am concerned, individuals who understand world's current events from watching TV sets much better than reading newspaper.

Due to the vivid imagines and dynamic videos within the TV sets, which can retain information more efficiently in viewers' brain than the original one, reading ordinary newspaper. Living in this rapidly developing "Multimedia era", it is important to know the most efficient means of retaining and absorbing the latest current events. Science research has shown us that television plays a significant role in retention and unable individuals understand news material in an efficient media way, which much better than reading newspaper in today's intensive society.

Moreover, in order to truly understand world events, watching television are better than reading newspaper because television's timely feature(timely features？有这个用法么). As we all know, most daily newspaper has been compiled and printed by editors in the last day or hours ago, which could not guarantee its timeliness. Obviously, the continuous developing of digital high-technology products have brought tremendous benefit to every individual, especially in their daily life. Consequently, some high-tech products also changing our behaviours and minds. Take cell phone as a example, cell phone users are sharply arised in recent decades, a common sight in our society is that men and women standing on the street, or hurrying along the footpath, talking into a cell phone or mobile phone. Although cell phone brought convenience to every citizen's life, the etiquette of cell phone usage are often fail to regard by ourselves. Therefore, people can be allowed to use mobile phone in public places or transportation, only if they follows public principles and good manners.

First of all, be a considerate person and keep your surroundings in your mind when you using cell phone in certain public places. It is loutish when mobile phones ringing loudly at weddings and funerals, buses and planes. Therefore, turn your phone off or switch to slient mode during those conditions and, more importantly, speak softly when you answer the phone in public. As we all know, cell phone are usually more sound sensitive than regular phone, so you do not need to yell to make yourself heard, which also had a strong negative impact on people around you.

Moreover, respect personal space of people around you as priority consideration when you taking conversation in some enclosed public spaces, such as public transit or elevators, where is the phone using places you should avoid from because others can not escape your conversation in that limited space. People should be allow to use cell phone in the case when some urgent phone calls and you have to answer it, find another place in public and keep away a little bit from the crowd people.

Finally, people should be allowed to use their mobile phone in public, as long as they keep awareness on guard. Not only should we keep our voice as quietly as possible in public space, we also should refrain from being tapped by people surround you when having some confidential conversation via cell phone in public, such as business secret. From my perspective, that is the reason why people should use their cell phone in public carefully.

In conclusion, without a doubt that the advanced communication way is more convenience and interesting than the traditional physical way like face to face contact. In other word, we have already immersed into the digital era and can not imagine the world without the mobile phone. But we still need to aware some public principles and etiquettes when we use it in certain public transportation, even some potential threats around us.

However, there has been an ongoing debate on  whether the car has had a greater influence on our life than the airplane has. In my points of view, of course I will hold the opinion that airplane has impact our society more significantly than the car has due to airplane's extremely high-speed, safety and comfortable flying experience, arrive on time and have not traffic jam problems compare to automobiles.



With today's terrible car accidents in our world, air travel imfluences our life profoundly due to its safer and comfortable transmit services compare to land driving. The statistics shown us that the chances of being involved in an aircraft accident are about 1 in 10 million. One the other hand, the chance of being killed in an automobile accident are 1 in 5000. That means people are far greater risk on driving the car than getting on the airplane. Therefore, the considerate  airplane service is changing the traditional concept of the long journey in people's mind.

The only way by connecting other cilization was through water. Unlike cars, aircrafts attribute to its powerful engine and extremely high-speed, could reach all continents around the world in a short time no matter how far the destination would be. That did change our society a lot because creation of ariline was the most significant factor that  were stimulated the economic globalization by cutting the costs and increasing the speed of moving good. In addition, there is no a word called "traffic jam" in airplane's dictionary.

In conclusion, the aircrafts influence us profoundly because of faster and long distance transportation means more opportunities to get advantages for a country or individuals in today's fierce competitive trade market, safety and comfortable flying experience also challenging our traditional concept deeply than driving car on high-way.

Advertisements exert great influence on people when we think of buying something, also an ongoing debate exists on whether most advertisements make products seem much better. As for me, I believe most people will agree that products in their advertisements seems much better they really are in order to influence and tempt the prospective buyers.

First of all, in today's fierce competitive retail market, with the aim of impress prospective consumers temp to buy, many companies invest a substantial amount of their money and time on a new advertisements to make their products appear more attractive to persuade people to buy more products. Take fast food advertisements as an example, in their ads, the perfect juicy shine on the meat, cheese and vegetables, and the perfect shape bun was carefully selected from hundreds of contenders. That is all just for the burger, and do you believe that? The reason to push you sitting on the Macdonald's table eating that "perfect" burger just because you saw the no blemish ads on TV at once.

Furthermore, advertisements feed on our insecurities and often successfully convince us to buy their products because there is no society without their products. In retailers' perspective, advertising was originally designed to showcase products and inform us to how they can improve our live a lot. Although this harmless form seems nothing on surface, the continues commercial attacks has been replace our self confidence to pick out the best products by ourselves. For instance, would you want to buy a lesser know brand that wasn't packaged well? Definitely not, simply because something well advertised and well packages is the crucial of a commercial commodity, such as perfume.

Finally, the celebrity effects in the ads also make the commodities seem much better than they really are. As we all know, adolescents and youngsters buy things merely because of their favourite singers or movie stars who represents for a certain new products. Moreover, the handsome and famous celebrities with  highly social status enhance the quality and make commercial commodities seem better than what they really are. Take the toxic baby milk in China as a example. It shocks all over the world because of thousands of babies in China have been poisoned and some of them died from drinking baby milk tainted by the industrial chemical additives. But why the baby milk's company on television ads seems "everything is perfect", even their attractive spokesperson?

To sum up, advertisements are made to encourage people buy their products no matter what are the products like in reality or the potential harmful elements in it. Therefore, that is why I firmly believe that the majority of ads are seems much better than they rally are for the reason I have mention above.

With the development of public media, the amount of adverting we are subjected to in our daily lives has increased drmatically over the last twenty years. However, there has onging debate on whether advertise  new products is wasting company's money and time because consumers have already known what they want to buy. In my points of view, I tend to agree the other part of the existing debate that the advertisements, as a powerful and cheaper propaganda weapon, has convinced lots of consumers to buy new commodities to aim advertisers' goals.

Advertisements have their own unique characteristic because it helps the customers aware of products. One problem among companies is that they may have not enough space and resources in commercial markets to make consumers realize the amazing new products and make sales. Most individuals would not gather the latest commodities information on their own initiative. Therefore, advertising is the best idea to provide solutions to these companies in many forms such as on TV, billboard, magazine, even on the Internet and email.

Moreover, advertisements can create demand, in other words, when companies presenting a product in a certain way, they can probably increase the demand. Take the sales of automobile as an example. In the competitive automobile market, it seems the  supply exceed demand,  but if the automobile retailer show some handsome guys driving their new products and have some gorgeous, breathtaking girls with them, it creates a demand for that cars. Because people foolishly think that sitting on that new products will get them a beautiful girl.

In addition, online advertisements can save money for companies' propagandistic fee. If a potential friend has not these merits and qualities, individuals may not be able to make friends and share experiences together.
