4.8 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students at university or in college should choose the most difficult classes even if they cannot get top grades (marks) in them.

Under most circumstances, students would have to decided what selective courses they favor and want to toke at college before the next quarter or semester began. However, there has an ongoing debate on whether or not should students at university choose a tough course even though they may not get a excellent great on it. Despite others hold their opinions that easier courses means higher marks, which has more practical advantages because higher score students has more chance to acquire scholarship and academic degree. In my points of view, I firmly tend to the opposite side of the discussion that tough courses play an essential role in our study experience, not only teach us how to solve difficult leaning tasks, but also bring to us self confidence when facing challenges outside the campus.

First of all, take some difficult classes will make you more strong and confidence in the rest of your semesters. As we all know, even though many college students switch their selective courses before deciding because they are lack determination and courage to face tough courses. A tough classes will direct university students' navigation on on how to solve difficulties, which capability will increases their courage and confidence. Did you have this experience before? You spent a few hours, even a whole afternoon to solve a difficult mathematical problem, and you finally did it. You must be proud and marvelled of yourself because of the achievement you had made. That experience will make you more confidence when facing similar mathematical problems in the future and overcome the challenge more easily.

In addition, in most cases, college students are unwilling to choose the hard course because the unfamiliar researching field which classes are  associated, the strict and high standard for students that professor have, even the numerous homework and times students who choose that course have to spent. But as an old saying goes in China, "Talented students are trained by strict teacher". Avoiding difficulties and chase the comfort is the part our human being's instinct, focus on and learning  something that you never did before. You will emotionally excited and find out that attempt you have been made, not just overcome the big shortage of yourself, but made you more mature than before and there will be no difficulty that you cannot overcome.


In sum, Compare to the interesting and entertaining one for students, tough courses maybe a litter bit boring and cannot easier to get a great score. Difficult classes like challeng obstacles in college for every students, just the first step we face in our whole life before we walk out into the fierce, complex and competitive society. Therefor, I strongly suggest that college students do not be a "score come first" guy, choose some difficult classes and challenge yourself.

What is the meaning of friendship? What kind of person deserve you to make friends with, honest, humorous or smart? We have often sought answers to these questions and never come up with an adequate answer yet. But in general, I think my friends are quite similar to me, they are smart and humorous(挺会抬高自己嘛。。哈哈). If a potential friend has not these merits and qualities, individuals may not be able to make friends and share experiences together.
