In this argument, the author claims that the new plan can help protect workers' lives against exposure to toxic chemicals. This plan is based on a new safety suit with an alarm which can notify the controller in order to make them take necessary steps when there is danger. Furthermore, the arguer assumes that
this new plan can also increases worker productivity and company profitability. At the first glance, this statement seems well-reasoned. However, after thinking about it twice, I figure out it is not such logical.

First of all, the writer fails to convince us that the new plan can effectively prevent poisonous chemicals from harming their stuff. As we know, there are many harmful chemicals to human and they can even kill someone in a very short period of time. For this sake, even though there is a new suit with a alarm, it may also fails to protect workers when a poisonous gas flowing into the suit for it can entirely destroy one's breathing system in several seconds. This may several times shorter than the managers take actions. Therefore, we should conclude that the new plan can really work.

At the second place, although the alarm can protect stuff, there is no evidence to show that the new plan can effectively increased worker productivity. In our common sense, in this kind of special conditions, everyone will pay more attention to their safety avoiding being harmed by chemicals. So they are likely to work in a slow speed. And, moreover, the author did not consider other factors which can improve the productivity. For example, if the facilities are so poor that the stuff can hardly improve their productivity no matter how hard they work. So, whether the plan can increase the stuff efficiency is open to question.

Thirdly, there is no obvious relationship between the profitability and new plan. Perhaps the alarm successfully increase the worker productivity, but the whether the profitability will increase reminds as a question. In society, the consumer is another core factor which can influence the profitability greatly. If the product of this company does not satisfy the costumers’' appetite, it can not earn more money. From the possibility given above, the assumption that the profitability will be increased after the new plan taking into practice is not convinced as it stands.

To sum it up, to a better support, the author should give direct evidence to prove the new plan can work effectively indeed. Furthermore, the reason for the new plan can increase the productivity and profitability is also required.
