请教一下已经在英联邦国家从事临床工作的前辈

被我母亲逼的，这是她答应我在国外学非医学临床的条件：例如如果我要学护理她就要求我必须到实际的西方医院去体会一下西方护士的工作内容和工作状态，如果我能忍受那样的生活30年她就同意我学。我妈在大陆干临床医已经30年了，所以特知道大陆临床的不易，所以是全家最反对我学临床的。为了这个事情我们都吵架很长时间了，而且大多数时候是以我难受的直哭为收尾。

Hey, you are adult, you should earn your respect as a a individual human being in your family, and have your own power to control your life.

And whoever said one should only do one single job for 30 years? Also, an anesthesia nurse or a NP earns more than a family medicne physician. But one thing is true, health care career is not made to be an easy life style, in which ever country.

好奇没做过临床的话，学health policy能干什么工作？跟卫生部门接触后觉得，没做过临床的话，在卫生领域工作很吃亏的。临床是王道啊！

大陆的临床什么样子和国外的医学没有必然联系啊 教育体系和医疗体系都不一样的 这个你也很清楚嘛
至于和父母的沟通 只能说尽量加油吧 有的时候过分瞻前顾后可能也会错过机会哦

但这个事情 毕竟你是成年人 你有权利选择你自己的生活 我不知道如果你态度坚决地跟她说你决定了某事 她又会怎样

Then this is a good time to do something your mom do not agree and do it all by yourself and the most important - success in this field, nomater how hard it is, never complain. Then, several years after you will get certain level of success, you will give everyone a shock, a surrprise, including your mom. That's the only way to kick the shock off  and change onthers' thought of you by heart - keep silence and work really hard, like study or work 16-14 hours/ day /7days. Yes, almost no entertainment besides study/dinners/and sleep.

I know it sounds impossible, and I though it almost impossible at first. Later, I know people do this for several years and successed, without a complain which made it look like the success just simplely come. Once a people I know, who came to US the same year as me but already doing observerships, asked about my board preparation. I said I have not started because no time. Then he was confused and asked a question which has shamed and shocked me a lot - "So do you still have some entertainment time?" I do not know waht to say at that moment becasue feeling shamed. That means this guy gives up every single entertainment he has got to get the time for his dream, AND FEEL THAT THIS SHOULD BE A SIMPLE CHOICE FOR EVERYONEELSE!

Now, I can say I almost have no entertainment time and keep working and studying around 16 hours per day 7 days per week, only stop by to give several replies in GTER and MITBBS, enjoy some time with my famliy, eat dinners, and then sleep for around 6 hours. You know what, Keep yourself busy does not really make life exhausted, instead make me feel refreshed. Because I finally do not feel that guilty anymore, and now if anyone ask me samilier question, I will say "no I do not have entertaimnet time, but I enjoy my life". Yes, I am already way behind the others, but I am coming up from behind. Trust me, that feels really good. And I believe, if I can succeed in the match 2012, which needs so much more hard work and strong luck, it sure will feel more fantastic.

I do not have much time for typing and checking every word. Write this in a rush and I am not really good at English, still on the way. So, please forgive me for the word and gramer mistakes. Hoep my ideas can help anyone needed.

看了楼上的帖子 忽然一下子觉得震惊
我能理解一个人努力辛苦工作 什么都不说 为了得到成功和别人的认可
但这样对自己的父母 是不是有点那个了
难道父母不应该理解或者至少尊重子女吗
子女难道需要证明自己的所谓实力而去获得父母的感情吗
我不知道大家怎么想 我只是一下子看了这段话觉得和自己的想法很不一样 所以好奇

1. 对于改行学临床这个事情上，我知道我妈是心疼我所以才不愿意让我学的（因为她的想象是：国外临床除了医生的薪水和社会地位高，其余的和国内一样：护士工作强度大时间长薪水低被藐视，工作条件艰苦，医患矛盾尖锐，暴力冲突经常发生，而且还要一辈子值夜班等等。虽然国外实际不是这样子）。

2。作为一个中国籍学生，必须要self-funding,不可能申请到贷款，所以最后钱还是要家长出阿，如果他们死活不同意他们不出学费生活费，那我拿什么去学呢？我觉得我现在考虑问题还是比较实际的。
