Should an effective leader maintain the highest ethical and moral standars?As far as I concern although the point of the speaker has merit, it is completely unnecessary.Because nobody can maintain the highest ethical and moral standars unless God.
Obviously ,this issue should be expounded case by case.

On political level,the highest ethical and moral standards would ever be existed,which would damage those political career forever.As we know that the highest moral standars mean honesty ,kindness,clear conscience and so forth.Nevertheless,the entire forthrightness probably the might be the undoing of politician’s leadership,which neither gain any respect and trust from his or her opponents ,whereas ,they will use it in any advantage to defeat the politician,such as when they are pandering to the electorate, do those opponents feel sorry for their disclosure about the politician’s privacy?Of course not ,so in my view of the point ,none of entire honest politicians would ever be elected.Despite this point is cynical ,when it comes to reality,which is the truth.On the other hand ,even if a promising politician who owns great leader talent and management ability have some scandals before,which may have some negtive influences about his or her reputation ,we shouldn’t neglect his or her feat and suspect his management ability.Respectively,Bill Colinton’s sex scandal comes to my mind immediatedly.So in the game of politics ,the highest ethical and moral standars are not existed ,if those politicians want to live on their own career.


On the business level, the highest ethical and moral standars indicate the breakup.Business means benefits and competition,whereas,the highest ethic and moral standars endued to business leader might make him never earn benefits ,when he meets the benefits with his opponets at same time .Because he have to tolerate by the morality’s restriction.So it is unrealistic for business leader that they should own the highest and moral standars.

However ,the basic ethical and moral standars are quit important for everyone,not only the leaders. In political aspect ,the function of leaders is that they should gain maintain civilian’s trust and support by earning interests as many as possible to them for requite.Therefore,a leader who has not basic ethical and moral standars ,will become the definite demon to people,although he has the most effective management methods in the world.In history ,we can find
lots of such kind of examples .For instance ,Hitler who is the world-known complete dictator had no any moral consciousness to kill Jews in World War Two .His brute behavior as a leader would be a disarster not only for Jews ,but also for the human being.In business aspect,if a firm executive doesn’t have the basic ethical and moral standars ,he will lost his reputation ,then lost his all clients sooner or later.To maintain society’s peace and prosperity,everyone should have the proper moral consciousness rather than the highest ethical and moral standars.

In sum ,only God can maintain the highest ethical and moral standars ,but nobody can be another God.However ,society must implement a basic line for anyone,that is morality which must exist in everyone’s mind.So people should be ruled by it and respect it
,instead push self to be another God.
