（分析前句）
首先我部分同意1的观点，一个人眼神，行为举止，是一个人一种内心意识的体现，一个诚实的人，他的表情，举止，眼神就是他内心的真实外在表现Internal/external…在潜意识中，人的行为举止是不会欺骗自己的。….再引申…举例子（想），一个人对一件事物产生强烈兴趣，会不由自主的向它看去。 对美味食物的垂涎，也是人对事物的喜爱，同时一个人会穿的十分正式只是为了博取面试官的好感…
但是，在另外一些情况中，这些条例并不适用，当一些人为了某种利益或目的，刻意（intentionally，on purpose）隐藏自己外在的举止，眼神，等，我们无法确切的了解他真实的意图通过穿着，举止，就像一个公众人物，他的一言一行都会引领社会的潮流，这时候，展现在public前的衣服，意图等等可能会与某些利益相挂钩，例如商家会找他当代言人做广告。广告中的模特，可能其真实喜好已经被影藏，取而代之的是利益的驱使is blinded by the interest(driven by interest)

其次，关于人和社会的问题，因为人是构成社会的主要因素，社会上大多数人的举止，穿着，是可以反映出一个社会目前的潮流的（基本同意），人的情绪是可以蔓延的，当一个事件被大多数的公众关注时，我们就可以通过对大众的反应总结（generate）出一个比较概括的公众目前的心态和价值观，我们称之为mainstream文化，包含了大多数人在这一时期所拥有的idea and value

然而，人和人之间是不同的，具有相同价值观的人会走到一起，形成一些与主流文化不一致的文化，我们称之为subculture，例如嬉皮士，垮掉的一代Beat Generation although they are controversial, it is undeniable that these subculture are part of the society. 但是我门又不能仅仅观察这一群拥有极端生活方式的人来得出社会价值和idea。

The speaker claims in two respects: (1) the way people look, dress, and act illustrate their attitudes and interests, (2) through observing the appearance and behavior of people, we can conclude the society's ideas and value. I fundamentally agree with the statement insofar that we can indeed judge the attitudes and interests in some certain condition, and through observing the appearance and behavior of people, we can tell much about the society's ideas and values in faith, However, It is undeniable that some subculture cannot represent the mainstream.

Primarily, I concede that the way people look, dress, and act is a reflection from inner of human being. An honest man, the act, the way he look, or even the little motion of his face muscle, all the external representation reveal his internal activity. we subconsciously stare at something we like, we dress decently in order to please the interviewer, and we dribble when we see delicious food, all the examples above demonstrate the fact that attitudes and interests can be revealed by the way we look, dress, act and so forth.

However, in some special respects, it is complicated to judge the interests and attitudes just from the way people look, dress and act. we cannot exactly know the actual intention of someone when he/she conceals all his/her real external representation for certain purpose, some case to this point are written below: All action and tendency of a public person may lead the fashion of the whole society, or connected to the tremendous interest behind them. Just as a common sense that the product which models recommend in advertisements cannot represent the actual thinking of themselves.

Secondly, I partly agree with the second part of this statement. As we know that the people constitute the society as a whole. The movements of people enliven the society, different regions and different periods generate a variety of ideas and values among diverse groups of people. It is possible to conclude the prevalent ideas and values of the society by observing the appearance and behavior of its people from the mainstream of the society, which symbolizes the demands and values of most people both internally and externally, and embraces the ideas and dissatisfaction from every class of the society. Such like white collars in Japan always wear suits and ties decently which reflect the oppressive working pressure and living burden on their shoulders, in addition, we can conclude that they are a nation of diligence and strictness as well.

Nevertheless, some non-mainstream subculture should not be taken into consideration while we are observing the appearance and behavior of people, although these culture such like Beat Generation and hippies are worth researching for discovering the dark side of the society, however, it cannot stand for the characters of most people, It is unwarranted to conclude that we all take drugs and wear unusual colorful cloth just by observing the extreme behavior and values of hippies.

In conclusion, It is reasonable to judge the attitudes and interests from the way people look, dress and act in certain conditions which are the true reflection of people's mind, and we should conclude the society's ideas and values through observing the mainstream of the society rather than the subculture.
