4.17 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to watch movies designed for you to think than to watch movies designed to amuse and entertain. As been invented since more than one hundred years ago, movie has played a very important role of our daily lives even in the modern society. However, as the development of the modern films, there are two types of movies occupy our sights. The serious ones, which designed for us to think, and the other, the one designed to just for entertainment. Compare to the amused one, I prefer to a movie which can bring me something others besides the movie itself. For the first place, the serious movies usually can tell us many other things such as the recognition of our lives, the value of the comunity, which is more significant than the movies themselves. Most important of all, just as a teacher, movies teach us the theories about the society. There is an oldaying goes like that: movies shape ones characterstic subconsciously. Secondly, movies, as a indispensable medium of the modern society, can aso show us some useful skills. For example, some movies of the bus usually tell people how to avoid the accidents around you. I think that is very useful for us. For another, our society also need more serious movies to help to guide its members to make a wise route of themselves. It is an undeniable fact that many elements of culture have been added to the modern films, which can finaly form a guidence for the civilization of a society. Just for the example of "AVATAR", it expresses the theme of love obversely, however, is also stands for the a more meaningful topic that all the relationship of all the spieces. Finally, coexisted with the serious movies, the amused ones' importance can also never been ignored because they also make a positive impact of our society. Almost everyone will turn some amused videos for fun when after the busy work. That is the charm of the movies of entertainment, relaxing us. So, when talk about how to release your press of the daily work, may be the amused videos are the best choice. In the final analysis, in comparing with the serious movies, the serious ones contribute to us more directly, but it is not to say that we can keep away from the movies for entertainment. May be we can think more deeply after we see a serious and use the entertainment vedioes just for leisure.

The serious ones, which designed for us to think, and the other, the one（ones吧？） designed to just for entertainment. Compare to the amused one（我觉得这里用one和ones都可以，但选择了一个之后最好前后一致呢~）, I prefer to（prefer sth哦！） a movie which can bring me something others besides the movie itself.
