刚刚Skype面试完，写下详细面试经过时间：20：36-21：17
地点：家里
这是我自3月份申请博士以来的第一次面试，也是第一次使用Skype进行面试。没有设备，还是周末现去电子城买的摄像头与麦克风。申请的学校是克莱蒙费朗二大（Universite´ Blaise Pascal, Clermont Universite´）机械工程学院下面一个实验室PHD职位，广告挂在ABG Association上面（http://www.abg.asso.fr/offre_rechercher.php?nature=3&recup=oui）

面试前的准备：大约研究了一下对方教授的简历与论文，五一的时候都玩去了，所以也就是走马观花看了一眼；然后仔细研究自己的CV+PS+GPA，反复用英语练习了一下。

预约的时间是晚上8点半（法国时间14：30），8点36分，对方通过Skype拨过来了。我接听后，就立刻看到了对方：面试考官一共3个教授，都是这个research proposal的指导老师。其中一个貌似很牛，是个国际学术会议的大会主席，满头银发，脸上写满了沧桑。另外两个，一个年四十左右的中年男子，一个年三十五左右的女士，都是副教授。这个中年男子就是一直与我联系的那个教授，我是最早给他发Email的，他很快给我了回复，告诉我他们这个研究项目正在招人。
我看到了他们，但这时他们却说看不到我，而只能看到一个广告，晕。我也发现了这个问题，似乎是因为昨天我安装了的软件造成的。不过当时他们没怎么理睬这个问题，而是直接开始面试了。

他们先让我进行了一个自我介绍，我就是报了一下我的名字，现在在做什么工作，当我告诉他们please call me Robi的时候，他们就笑了。教授说你介绍了自己，我们也自我介绍一下，然后他们就逐一报了下姓名。法国人的口音很重，这次我算领教了，说了几次Pardon我也记不清了。

教授问我的问题按时间顺序大概有以下几个方面：

1. What's your everyday work in your company?
我是在一家研究所工作，就告诉他们我当前在做哪方面的项目，FE Analysis, Experiments on......

2. Why do you apply for our research proposal?
-------Cause your proposal is interesting and matchs with my former education and research experience.

3. Why do you want to go abroad for a Phd research, why not do it in China, e.g. your former lab?
-------Seldom institutes in China focus on research in this field, and I want to do a further research. Since your group is one of the best in this research field, I'd like to do it under your supervision. 至于former lab那个问题，就直接忽略了。

4. Did you read our research proposal?
----- Of course, I read it.
It's written in French, can you understand?
------No, I read it in English via google translate
Good, then can you talk about this research proposal, how do you think it, please in detail?
------It's an interesting proposal, 然后就无语了，一度冷场，最后竟说出 Now I have little knowledge about'''''''
教授摇了摇头，说OK, next topic.

然后他拿出了我的简历，开始发问：
5. I think China's educational system is different from France's, so can you explain to me the degree of M.S.'s and B.S.'s in China, what's their equivalent diplomas in France?
有点无语，其实我对法国的教育体制也是不了解的。我就告诉他在中国本科需要4年，研究生需要3年。

6. You provided your academic scores at Master's, can you explain.....听力有限，后面很多没听懂，还让人家重复了一遍，大概意思是说中法大学的评分体制不同，你能不能对Credits and scores做出个说明。
--------Full mark of all courses in China is 100. 我只能说这些了
OK, get it. I want to know your rank in your department?
--------About top 10% in my department.
Can you provide me a certification about this fact?
--------Of course, I will sent it to you in the next days.

7. You said you are awarded by the Scholarship of ..., can you give a description about the scholarship?
------- The scholarship is to memorize a famous scientist in China, only awarding to very competitive student......

8. You have an international collaborater in Italy, is that ture?
-------Yeah, he is an Italian professor in the university of ......
How did you know him and how you two work together?
-------It's a story 3 years ago.......currently, the co-op is carried out though internet
Where did you carry out your experiments presented in your collaborative paper?
--------mostly in my former lab at the university of...., and he did many theoretical works.

9. Did you have any experience abroad for a period, study or working?
--------None.
Did you participate any international conference?
-------- Yeah, once. The conference was held in ...where I got to know some famous sholars in this research field and had a face-to-face with them.

10. Are you skilled in Matlab as you mentioned in your CV?
------- Yes, I've been used its simulink module for experimental modal analysis.

11. Did you apply for any other Phd positions?
------- I applied for several other Phd positions, but this is my first interview, and your research proposal will be my preferred option.

后面开始转入与学术无关的话题
12. How you feel about our country France?
------- It's all about romantic. 然后他们都笑了，很会心地笑。
Do you like France?
------- I like France very much. 然后就扯我看过98年世界杯，喜欢巨星Zidane等，他们又开始笑.....

13. What do you know about our city Clermont-Farrand?
-------Only a little. The city locates in the central France and has a population of about 300,000, 这时发晕了，人口刚开始说成了3万人，结果看对方默默无语，才发现自己说错了，改成30万后，对方才点了点头。

14. Do you know there's lots of Chinese students in the university of Clermont-Farrand?
-------Yeah, I know it.
Really? How do you know that?
------- From the internet BBS

一个搞笑的镜头出现了，他让那个副教授去找一个中国人过来，说有什么生活问题都可以向这里的中国人咨询。然后很快，一个中国人就出现在了我的镜头前，我们开始用汉语交流。他告诉我他在这个实验室里做博士后，然后说你应该没问题，好好表现。然后他告诉我他那里看不到我的影像，这几个老外想看到我，于是我们就约好先挂断，5分钟后再进行通话。关掉Skype后，我把那个广告软件卸载了，又重启了系统，这样当我再次开启Skype与他们通话时，他们终于能看到我了，然后他们那边就开始欢呼了，晕！

然后教授说看你还有什么问题要问你的同胞，我说暂时没有，有的话以后发邮件询问吧。就这样，那个博士后与老外们用英语寒暄了几句就离开了。教授问我还有什么问题没有，我说：
-----When will you decide this research proposal?
他说了一大堆申请流程，最后告诉我 probably in June or July.
然后他告诉我，你不要忘了提供那个成绩排名的证明，我说no problem.
最后他问我现在在你那里是什么时间了？
我说：Nine twenty，然后教授说你也该go to bed了吧，我说 I will go to bed one hour later.
最后相互告别， Thank you all for your time! Bye bye
面试结束，马上给教授们写封感谢信！！！
