资金证明，如果去TJ？

现在欧在做两手准备。NB估计是没指望了，如果去TJ, 我担心的是钱的问题，我和老公现在帐上的钱购第一年的，但是第二年的现在一分钱都没有， 国内的证明都开不出，我父母，和老公的父母都不约而同的在近期买了新房子，所以银行里没有存款。

请问，如果去TJ, 那边的VO会关心第二年的钱吗？ 我很担心。:(

lwm，你要注意timing，好像有新的规定持F1签证还不能太早入境。
是允许提前1个月还是3个月我记不清了。建议你查询一下有关规定。

lord...,我也在考虑去TJ签证，我们这的ISO告诉我说新学生开学前30天不能入境，所以要去也得是在7月末或8月，这样也好在寒假回国。

还有她说如果在通过BCIS转和第三国签证是否能同时办时有些问题，还有第二次能不能签发I20的问题上也都有可能有问题，我还没问清楚，在关注。

Because we are working with a new database system, we are not 100% sure how it would work in terms of issuing you a second I-20.  We believe we would need to cancel the first one and thus trigger a withdrawal of the change of status application and then reissue a new one for you to travel.

As I relayed to you earlier during our meeting today, you will not be able to
go to Mexico after making your F2 to F1 application with BCIS.  Leaving
the country after making application is considered "abandonment of
application".  

You cannot go to Mexico right now to apply for your F2 to F1 change
right now either.  If you go to Mexico now and are successful in your
visa change, F1s are allowed to enter the country only 30 days prior to
the term start date, which is August 21, 2003.  If you are not
successful, then you will have to start all over again.

hehe, the advisor at my lg's university told me that it is a 50%-50% chance to go to Mexico...and after hearing this, i forgot to ask the 30 days' policy, sigh :(

as to issuing a second I-20 to travel, her understanding is that it depends on the university. So, northriver, i think you should talk with your university. Normally, lots of universities do that.
