第一次写，觉得自己写的特别特别差劲T.T    真是没有脸贴出来啊。。。GASSA叔叔你凑合着看啊。。。多提意见多批评 我加油赶上大家







“Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requiresreal effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction—in other words, tomake things as simple as possible.”



Thespeaker says it needs more effort and courage to make things simple thancomplex, which is totally match my point of view. With the development oftechnique and science, multiple choices have been provided to people. However,it seems that human’s notion didn’t catch up with the pace of technique andscience. People keep on preferring insisting their own ideas and refusingaccepting others’ ideas, which make things become bigger than it was.

Makingthings bigger and more complex is indeed simpler for it only requires peopleholding their grounds and not accepting others opinion no matter which thoughtsis more logical or fit the circumstances. For supporting examples one need lookno further than a television set. On today’s television talk show,disagreements appear nearly every five sentences. Some of the disagreements areso unimportant that there’s even no need to mention them a second time.However, it seems that people can always point out them and give thesedifferences an unduly concern. For instance, a slight matter such as whichfruit is tastier will raise a vehement debate and finally the debaters maychoose cut down all relationships between each other.

Makingthings smaller and simpler is not as convenient as just changing the words“bigger and more complex” to “smaller and simpler”. It demands a pluralismvision to cogitate things. People need to comprehend other’s values and methodsfirst. Compared to persisting their own theory, this kind of comprehension asksfor much more efforts of people. In reference to the importance of congregateaffairs and personal affairs, some tends to do their own things and regardthose who put congregate things first somewhat fool. Similarly, people who docongregate things first regard those putting private things ahead selfish. Whenthey happened to deal with a program, debate may appear frequently. But wisepeople who try to understand others’ values and methods will find that thenature of the disagreement is decided by different people’s thinking methods.Some people are likely to think from the huge aspects to microcosmic aspectswhile some others are totally the opposite.

Thingswon’t get smaller and easier only by thinking in others’ ways. It just stoprunning to bigger and more complex. Some concessions are needed, which canhardly be done successfully without courage. Concessions means on thefundamental of comprehending others’ values, one should also accept them, whichalways be regarded as admitting their own values are not so correct. Acceptingthe different habits, principles, methods require tolerance. And tolerance requirescourage. It sometimes scares people for breaking the only one phenomenon.Humans are more willing to believe the uniqueness of not only methods but alsoprinciples. When trying to accept others’ values and methods, the broken ofonly one principle requires lots of courage.

Besidesthe aspects mentioned above, if one can always find the nature behind things isthe pluralism of principles and values, and they are understandable andacceptable, problems will becoming simpler and smaller. However, it is the mostdifficult thing.

However, it seems that human’snotion didn’t catch up with the pace of (感觉应该加个发展之类的词，如：growth) technique(technology) and science. People keep on preferringinsisting their own ideas and refusing accepting others’ ideas, which makethings become bigger than it was.

整篇文章看完，才明白原来作者在围绕“坚持自己的想法与接受别人的想法”论证“把事情弄大弄复杂需要真正的努力和勇气，
还是把事情简单化需要真正的努力和勇气”，没个段落论争比较多，但是能够支持论点的论据不足，或者展开不够充分。有一个小疑问，感觉写的优点跑题，论争的切入点和论题联系有些牵强。（纯个人看法，很有可能不对）
语言方面我也不太好，就不多说了，但是感觉重负的用词比较多，后面2段优点中翻英的感觉，建议多看看范文，丰富一下词汇。
