Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? A job with more vacation time is better than a job with high salary but less vacation time.

Nowadays,more and more people prefer to work overtime in order to get extra money.However,at the same time,they have less vacation.For me,I disagree with this action.If you want to choose between a job with more vacation time and a job with high salary,the former one will definitely be my choice.Listed below are my reasons.

First,since working gives us much pressure and makes us overloaded,having more vacation time can let us relax.There are already some authoritative research show the terrible effects of being overloaded,so why do we have to work more but get worse body situations?We can choose to have more vacation time to go on a trip or see some films so that we can get rid of the burden which work brings to us.Thus,we can have physical fitness and mental joy.

Second,if we have more leisure time,we can have more time with people around us.Did your wife or husband always complain that you seldom care about the family?Did your friends always have parties without you?Did your doctors check your health only once a year?These will not happen if you have more freedom,and you will feel more like a caring person.

Finally,more vacation time will let you have enough time to do things you wanted to do.An account who is into poems can use the free time to read some beautiful words and enjoy a kind of peace,and a worker whose interest is drawing can go to different places to depict beautiful views through his or her paintbrush.There are things that they can not do earlier because of the overloaded work.

Money is a good thing,but not every thing.It can bring you physical satisfication.,but not health,happiness and knowledge.So,as a conclusion,I would prefer to have a job with more vacation time rather than a job with more money.

Newspaper and magazines always convey different kinds of information to us,and from reading them,we can gain lots of knowledge.For example,something about a foreign country.But,it is the best way to know a foreign country?In my opinion,the answer is no.

First,newspaper and magazines can't contain all the information you need to know a foreign country.They just focus on events that could attract most people's attention and interest in order to let more people buy their products.Think about it,will a newspaper describe things which are unfamiliar to most people?Thus it will lose many readers because they don't want to waste time on things they don't want to know.So,the information newspaper and magazines provide to people is limited.

Additionally, there are many factors that influence the content of the newspaper,such as policy and the favor of the editor.If the relationship between two countries are tense,the publishing in the two countries will be contrary to each other.Maybe they will publish some articles that defame the other one so that so common people will be misled.In this case,people will not get the real information about the foreign country.

Last but not the least,news papers and magazines can't alway explain something clearly enough due to their limited length. They have to shorten some passages------especially the explaining parts ------so that they can put more articles and advertises in the page.As a result, people can only know the general meaning of what the newspaper is talking about but lose the details of it.

In this information age, newspaper and magazines are turning to be more and more limited.At the same time,the internet appears to be more free and efficient.You can get all the information you want to get on internet quickly and efficienty.So,I think that the best way to know about a country is definitely not by reading newspaper or magazines.

Look at all the successful people in the world, you can hardly find someone who always keeps doing the jobs he or she has done well.They have something in common, that is they are more likely to take new things and take risks in their careers.I will give you the reasons to this phenomenon in the following paragraphs.

First,as is known to all,developed industries are always highly competitive.Although some people have done great jobs in their old jobs,they face more challenges from their competitors. Also, with the improvement of the manufacture technology and the growing number of their competitors , the profits in the old industries are getting less. What's more, old things can be easily fed up with as people have been facing them for such a long. So, old industries seem to be profitless and has little appeal for these people.

Second, there are more opportunities in new things and risks .Since the old industries are so overcrowded, doing something others have seldom done before means having more chance to win. Usually,these areas remain to be developed. Successful people wisely see the benefits in them and take advantages of them,so they gain more profits and build market share easily.We know many successful people who win their business through this way, like Steve Jobs, who sharply see the future of digital products and led Apple to the crown by the use of innovative technologies.

It seems that donging the work people have done well is a cautious choice, but remember, the era is racing, and new things would finally replace the old ones.And if you dare not to take risks,you will finally be out of date and be abandoned by the world. That's why successful people take new things and take risks rather than the thing that they've done well.

Most people prefer others making decision for them than making a decision for themselves.


People always face dilemmas. Each time they hesitate, they should make decisions. Most people like to ask others' ideas and turn to make decisions under their influences for the reason that their minds seem to be objective.But, in my opinion, I totally disagree with it and insist that people should make decisions themselves.

First, I think that the person who knows his or her situation most is himself or herself. Think about it, will others know exactly what you are thinking of or realize your thought deep in your heart?Never will this happen because you are the one who knows you since the day you were born. So, when in diffculties,others may give you suggestions, but they just give them in their ways and never know what is really wanted in your mind.You are the one who know clearly what your goal and your interest are,so it's you who make the decision.

Second,one can only be responsible for oneself. One's way must be held tight in one's own hands. If it's a wrong way, nobody else will be responsible for it because it has nothing to do with their lives. So one should take one's decision carefully and regardless of the influence made by others.

Last but not he least,if one get used to letting others make decisions for oneself, finally one will lose one's own mind as well as the ability to live independently.Since one starts to let people make decisions for oneself,he or she will rely on others more and more gradually.As a consequence, if one day he or she wants to make a decision on his or her own, he or she will find it hard without the help of others.

So,all in all,I think that people should make decisions themselves rather than letting others make the decisions for them.
