签证前心想:或许我是个幸运的人,可是如果不好好准备,恩赐便被我白白浪费了...
我只用了经典的25问,每个问题都准备了答案,但最后还是把25变为3个focus:funding(我是
全自费),professional experience(这个和专业有关,是我最大的硬伤.准备时,我假设过无
数次,以此理由被拒...),furture plan(我的是MASTER,而且行业比较特殊,这点上还是比较
容易解释的;但是要convince VO为什么花这么多钱去读书,回国发展能很快收回投资吗,值
得吗)

谢谢朋友的耐心陪练,让我发现了答案的许多漏洞,我把答案改了一遍又一遍,interview之
前,至少对自己和朋友来说,整个plan是无懈可击的

process
6.6 广州
时间安排我没有太在意,自然就好.我爱睡懒觉,签证那天也没什么特别,8点起来,愉快地上
路,记得带上填好的三份DS表.
进大厅之前听任police的安排,一直和后面的PPJJ在小声聊天(签证完了竟然没记得和她打
招呼,至今都好后悔...嗯..好后悔呵)
至今不确定昨天的vo是传说中的哪一位,好像是新来的吧,其实很少留意这些,接受不能改变
的吧.不过看到他没有两撇小胡子,还是禁不住地庆幸.


漫长的等待....我一直在聊天,小声地.偶尔想一想自己的几个points

me:fine.thank you.
vo:what will u go to US for?
me:to study for the master degree of ....at ...university. The program focus o
n .... I think it'll be very helpful in supporting of my career goals(学习我用
一句话带过,很想快点引到career goal上来)
vo:果然打断,问what's ur career goals?
me:i'll enter .......agency in China,work as ........, provide....(具体工作)此
时VO欲打断,我坚持说完了最后一句,呵呵,至少我把plan告诉他了
vo:give me ur admission letter.
me:OK ,right here....
vo:how long will u stay in us?
me:2 years.
vo:but 36 months on the I-20 form?
me:反正也准备了,慢慢解释.yes,but that's the longest time the students r allowe
d to stay in US.the normal time is 1.5-2 years.I have the fax form the school
to explain this issue.(之前特意向学校要的,因为不希望和VO在这个问题上纠缠太久,呵
呵,浪费我convince他的时间)would u like to have a look at it?
vo:yes,pls........(FAX太不清晰了,他辨认了一下)
vo:u r still a student??怀疑地问..
me:终于还是问了.yes,but I have more than 2-year part-time working experience i
n .... ,(一边递上支持材料一边继续说)now i need advanced knowdedge and more pro
fessional training to support my career goal.
vo:打断,what did u do in the....?问part-time的工作.
me:..........(具体再具体) 他点点头 .Give me ur resume.
vo:how about the funding?
me:my parents will fund my education from their saving of ....RMB.
vo:打断what's ur parents doing?
me:my father is ...and my mother is.......They earn ...per year.They transfer
the money from....(解释资金来源).I have the bank certificate and all the suppor
ting materials with me.would u like to ....?
vo:yes,pls.
飞快盖章,给我蓝纸(财力资料,ad letter,resume都没有还给我)
vo:I can't give u the visa temporarily for ur appliction needs further process
ing ....inform u in 1-2 weeks.
me: u mean I've been checked?
vo:no....(NO??不会吧?被吓坏了,呵呵)
me:不敢多说,OK,thank you.
后来问police,又问了几个人,才confirm是被checked

interview里个人觉得最重要的是应变能力,smart一点吧,虽然自己做得不够好.

接下来又是等待了,过与不过听天由命了.大不了2000.
