family based一直不感兴趣，所以也没研究。这是visa bulletin的解释

FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES

First:  Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Citizens:  23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference.

Second:  Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents:  114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, and any unused first preference numbers:

A.  Spouses and Children:  77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;

B.  Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older):  23% of the overall second preference limitation.

Third:  Married Sons and Daughters of Citizens:  23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences.

Fourth:  Brothers and Sisters of Adult Citizens:  65,000, plus any numbers not required by first three preferences.

一切以上面的解释为准，其他转贴如果不一样就是其他转贴错了，或者是翻译的歧义。
这个月的visa bulletin

不存在FB，避难，和EB之外的中国绿卡，所以这个“非没美国公民直系亲属绿卡”，我的理解是绿卡人的直系亲属绿卡吧。不知道是不是，但是visa bulletin是肯定包含所有可能性了。

千老就是千年老博士后，老博士后们自嘲发明的。

EB确实给得太少了，但也要知道，走EB的，都是有稳定工作和实力的，将来生活大多比其他途径的要好些，这是咱们一代移民的正路。当然，八仙过海各显神通吧……

着上面的数字也要考虑到2006年之前的护士绿卡，所以2006之前的数字和现在的形势关系不那么大了。

且2007年的绿卡大潮，还没有排到期，所以没有爆发出来呢，不知道审到之后会发生怎样的变化，估计不乐观，起码排期进展会缓慢……
