Argu12 The following appeared in a memo from a vice president of Alta
Manufacturing.
"During the past year, Alta Manufacturing had thirty percent more
on-the-job accidents than nearby Panoply Industries, where the work shifts
are one hour shorter than ours. Experts believe that a significant
contributing factor in many on-the-job accidents is fatigue and sleep
deprivation among workers. Therefore, to reduce the number of on-the-job
accidents at Alta and thereby increase productivity, we should shorten
each of our three work shifts by one hour so that our employees will get
adequate amounts of sleep."

conclusion： fatigue and sleep deprivation cause on-the-job accidents. There are many significant contributing factors can cause accidents. It is unreasonable to judge whether fatigue and sleep deprivation is the cause merely according to one evidence which may mislead us through false methods to research.

Even it is true, there is still many flaws present. There are many other methods to reduce the number of accident and increase productivity.And there is no evidence to show shorten each of three work shifts by one hour, can attain the same goal.Maybe cuting the working hours will bring other problems such as inertia, unproductive situations and so forth.

The factory should insure that every employees with great discipline or reducing work-hour means nothing. And absent such evidence, all emplyees are good at self-restraint.Maybe reducing working hours gave them more amusement-time to make fun. Maybe they prefer enjory their lives without sleeping.

what’s the means of the word-greatness. We always regard the greatness of individuals as their work, research and ethos. I agree with that history can witness the greatness or badness of a person and spread his/her fames, but when moral defines greatness, it can go beyond the history.

至于为什么要按照规定的格式发帖,原因有两个.首先大家在论坛里面找习作可以比较方便,但更重要的一点是大家可以使用搜索功能 Issuexx和Argumentxx方便地找到同样主题的习作,这一点是非常重要的.比如这个就是靠论坛的搜索功能给整理出来的.

以前的标题要求在这里发帖格式扫盲
其中有两个要求 1,标题必须以issue/argument开头; 2,数字之后要有一个空格.
这两个要求是为了当时论坛的排序功能而设定的,现在已经没有必要再保留了.格式只需要满足帖子开头提到的两个条件,即显眼而可以搜索到,那就可以.所以最新的标题格式要求只有这么一个:只需要在标题中出现完整的Issuexx或者Argumentxx.
