求高人指点 Drexel 的biomedical science怎么样

小弟今天在浏览大学信息的时候发现 Drexel 的biomedical science，凡是申请到的都有免学费，医疗保险，还有每年25，000刀，这不就是说只要录取就有offer？ 是不是真的啊，求高人指点

申请南洋理工的难度 跟申请美国完全是不同的。。
而且re楼上 生物医学跟生物医学工程 差得不是一般的远。。

i THINK SO....IF some school really offer ad for PHD students in biomedical science, the school or department is shameless....
it is not about passion or not, PhD did more work for the lab than paid technician who get paid even higher. PhD students comes every day including weekend, work diligently for more than 5 years in order to graduate..  and they don't even get decent payment which essentially cost nothing compared the money spend on experiments...e.g one genescan I did in one day, costs more than my biweekly salary...only professor/department has common sense would offer phD students assistantship or do those thing by yourself and never try to get a student in first place....

Totally aglee.

I have only seen one department offering PhD ADs in Biomedical Sciences at the Univeristy of Missouri department of vetern medicine.
But they gives AD to almost anyone applied, so......

yes, I think when people give your ad for phd program in  basic science or essentially most of the program...it only means one thing...they don't even want you....only crazy people would pay for PHD with money out of their own pockets... especially in bio area...I doubt there is anyone THAT CRAZY. I think school knows that as well, offer AD is just another (maybe polite but actually disgusting)  way of saying"we don't want you".

事实就是如此.........今年发了不少PHD的ad,不乏生物
DREXEL的系里我甚至打过电话过去问stipend的可能性,人家跟我说今年program只有2-3个有奖,其他的都是靠教授支持,你要钱得有教授愿意support,找不到我们也没办法
综上:此学校不太靠谱.....
