今天终于可以写自己的签经了，看了别人这么多签经，本来想做点贡献，呵呵，现在只

能讲讲如何主动被check的经验了。
早晨8点钟出发，坐轻轨去的，不知为何9点半才到签证处，都叫到260号了，ft，看包
奶奶说晚点进去好，没听她老人家话，呵呵，急匆匆就往里冲了（事实是今天据说早进

去的情况非常好）。然后就拿着黑牌（最不喜欢的颜色）等啊等，一直等到12点多才把

我们这对叫上去，腿都要断了。9号gg个子挺高的，在我之前一直拒，包括一个北林的
mm，和一个去virginia学civil的gg：（。我在下面看着，这个gg喜欢看材料，来者不拒

说话也很清楚，不过挺酷的，不笑。终于到我了，过程如下，非常简单，我回头看看，

似乎是我自己在主动要求check，呵呵
vo: how are you
me: fine, nice to meet  you
vo: so you are from tsinghua?
me: yes, i am a graduate student of tsinghua, i'll graduate next month
vo: what degree?
me: i'll graduate with MS degree.
vo: so you are interested in biology?
me: yes, i'm interested in it. i will study chemical biology.(开始主动要求
check）
vo: ......看电脑
mo: 开始主动show材料。i'm going to pennsylvania state university to pursue
PhD degree in chemical biology, here's the letter from penn state director.
vo: 来着不拒
me: what do you do with your work for your PhD?
me: i plan to come back to find a research position in a top university in
china, to concentrate on chemical biology. here is the letter of our managin

me: chemical biology is very new and in rapid expansion in china in recent
years. I have the govenment report....拿出自己从网上下载编辑过的report

me: you can see that at least 9 top univeristies in china are planning to
establish graduate program in chemical biology. so they will be in great nee

of specialists in this area. I must come back immediately upon my graduation

to grasp this precious opportunity.
vo: which university?
me: of coz tsinghua university is my top choice.
vo: why not pursue phd in tsinghua?
me: Actually, only beida has just established chemical biology graduate
program just in this April, the first in china. US is the origin of chemical

biology. and Pennstate is one of the earliest universities in US to set up
graduate program in chemical biology. so they provide the most mature and
systematic training in this area. it's my best choice.

me: 交上，顺便说do you want transcripts?

me: 开始主动撕成绩单，撕到一半才突然想起问：may i open it for you? ft，但是v

不care，压根没理我
刚把研究生成绩单递进去，正在撕本科成绩单，vo画圈，blablabla。。我看错了，以为

他画的是reject，急了，555，喊wait, please don't! vo眼睛直勾勾盯着我缓缓得拿起

章盖下去:(，sigh，我已经无计可施了。我就开始blablabla胡言乱语让他给我suggest

我好下次来签，解释了半天，他的表情似乎觉得我在莫名其妙，就趴在窗口上，一字一

句的说blablabla我还是木有听懂，只听到sensitive和washington，do you mean i am

checked? 他拿出著名的蓝条，说you are too nevous，我说i maybe a little nervou

终于明白了他的意思，然后他找个透明袋，把我刚才主动塞进去
的所有的材料都装起来了，我手上的本科成绩单才撕了一半，不然也要一起装起来了。

这时候大厅里面空荡荡的没几个人了，来了句have a great lunch，走人。
今天形势挺好的，老奶奶说早上的时候很多人都过了，我在大厅里也看见很多人过，估
计
F1有50％的通过率（加上check），看来北京的春天快来了阿，呵呵
今天没有遇到tt是很幸运了吧：）不然象我这种发挥一定没戏了：）幸亏9号vo喜欢看材

料，我就一个劲主动递，终于争取个check吧，个人感觉是这样，运气好，谢谢所有关心
