【i原文】In qutadion day, you may witness some friends' complain, "Why should we spend a lot of money of the tax payer on the archiologly. The only thing the archiolist do is to unearth the cave of the dead men. It is totally a waste of money having no good to our daily lives."
You may make a joke as a response,"yeah,at least, your complaint is really a history problem. It worth researching."
The speaker must be one member of the complainers. On the contray, I disagree with the speaker's vague and extreme assertion. If the study of history is narrowly defined as telling the old stroies, it really make no sense. However, with the development of history, the field has developed
more and more broadly, affecting our daily life greater and greater, in person, field and even social degree.
As we human has a long history of evolution from monkey to the current civilized person, it is admitted that every cell in our body has a long historty from a tiny kernel having ineffient^ funtion to an powerful cell capable of finishing every task needed, even thinking, which the modernest science cannot explain thoroughly. The every step, we ,human put, contain jj^the wisdom of the nature and ourselves. To clarify the heritage, which is the purpose of the study of history, hidden in ourselves, will provide us significant clue to know our serects well, immense power to open a splendid future.That is the value to a person.
Except the merit to a person, the study of history also enable field to develop.
Digging in the history of the theory of the motion of stars, Newton established the theory of gravity, which is the foundation of the physics for hundreds of yeas.With the study of the ancersor's premise of electricity and megnatism, Maxiwell absorbed the goodness and discovered the flaw which was overlook for a long time,successfully unifing the phenomenon of electricity and megnatism with Maxiwell Function. The study of the past work have done, always gives descendents inspiration to innovation and clue to the truth, which result in the valid and vigorous development of the field.That is the value to a field.
Even to our soceity,the study of history has its profound influence. The human's society developed much slower than a person. A thousand year may only count a day to our society.In restrospect of the several "days" , human society struggle to find the mysterious law of itself, to gain a stable, prosperous and sustainable society. The Annervasity of the two World War, illute the greed of human and evoke the peace inside.^That is the value to a society.
However, in the such rapid developing age, the value does not equal to the necesity. With the imformation explosion, there are more

However, in such rapid developing age, the value does not equal to the necessity. With the information explosion, there is more historical issue left us to discuss. In order to take the most advantage of them, we should focus on some more important issues of them. For example, if we have two issues to choose, the structure of dinosaur tribe and the structure of human tribe, in most cases, definitely we should choose the latter, which has more value to us.
Finally, there is no doubt that the value of history to a person, to a field, even to our society. However, as the complexity of our age and environment, we should pay more attention to the more valuable study of history. (588)

“ History is a mirror”, from this mirror, not only to see the backward, the true meaning of history is to adopt now and predict future. Just for this importance of history, more and more people study history, and then several problems surface from studying, what is the real value of studying history, the close relationship with daily lives, or others. I will discuss this issue carefully in turn.
There is no deny that the it is valuable when the study of history has link with day to day lives. Studying history could make our mind advisable, with summarizing the predecessors’ lessons and absorbing complete experience, we could evaluate ourselves objectively and consider the shortcoming. By this procedure, we can improve ourselves. Meanwhile, it is more faster for developing when the history contacts with daily lives. For a remarkable example, the development of modern medicine is closely related to the study of traditional medicine. From study the records of botany, the experts find some plant of cinchona could prevent and cure malaria, and then deeply study of it and combine with chemistry, scientists extract Quinine through cinchona. Quinine is a significant medicine for malaria and trigeminal neuralgia. For this case, we could find that study of history is beneficial for our daily lives.
The law, close connection with our day to day lives,is also significantly influenced by history. Where is the society , where is the crime, from the Code of Hammurabi, the most complete archetype of law, to contemporary law, by continuous learning and improving the history , the law becomes more and more consummate, thus let us attain more freedom and rights when limits the behaviors. By study of history, the more experience we absorb, the farther forward we go.
The value of studying history  goes beyond our daily lives. History not only affects the extent of our daily lives,scads of other portions are neglected for contracting our daily lives indirectly, such as environment problems and nuclear pollution, are also affected by study of history. From 1950’s, scientists have already been aware of the ozone sphere hole. From that time, scientists begin to observing it and constitute a train of measure to discuss it, by study this part of history, we establish series of statute to restrict the industrial waste gas emission and motor vehicle pollution now, and then protect the ozone sphere to keep individuals from damaging of ultraviolet radiation.
And another remarkable example is nuclear leakage, through using the nuclear to generate electricity, there are several leak disasters happened. By the way of studying these accidents, it could help the government to constitute countermeasures to prevent and tackle the leak beforehand,although the nuclear is further from our daily lives, the value of study history is greatly important and significant for the security of our lives.
The study of history is a persistent procedure of  absorbing experience and weeding out the old and bringing forth the new. The real value of study history is not only for benefiting our daily lives, the most important significance is teaching us thinking, summarizing past, adopting now, and preparing future.
