TOPIC: ARGUMENT172 - The Mozart School of Music should obviously be the first choice of any music student aware of its reputation. First of all, the Mozart School stresses intensive practice and training, so that students typically begin their training at a very young age. Second, the school has ample facilities and up-to-date professional equipment, and its faculty includes some of the most distinguished music teachers in the world. Finally, many Mozart graduates have gone on to be the best known and most highly paid musicians in the nation.

The author claims that students will choose Mozart School in priority due to its reputation. Three aspects information are presented above to support the argument. However,
this argument is flawed in several respects.

To begin with, the assumption that every student will benefit from the intensive training and practice is unwarranted. Even though the Mozart School pays much attention on intensive practice, it does not guarantee all students' improvement and achievement. As is known to all, the quality of teaching and learning is related to students' traits. It is natural that the stressed training cannot apply to certain students, who may have individual music talents, or have other effective methods in practicing. By the same token, the policy that training began at a very young age is little indication of large enrollment. Unless ruling out the portion of students will fit the training, it is impossible to draw any firm conclusion that this music school will appeal to many students.

What's more, the author does not provide evidence that all these teaching resource and facilities are available to how many students. It is possible that the amount of facilities and up-to-date professional equipment pales considering all students' need. In this case, some students will have no access to qualified practice, let alone qualified improvement as a whole. Additionally, the author does not inform us how many students can be taught by the most distinguished music. It is very likely that just small portion will benefit. Lacking such investigation, it is presumptuous to claim Mozart' reputation.

Furthermore, the fact that its many graduates have been renowned and highly paid tells little to support the argument. First, the fame and pay of these students cannot indicate they are achieving success in music. Second, even these students is successful, it is possible their success is not attributable to Mozart School. For instance, the successful students may participate in other musical education school or receive other special training from some prestigious musicians, or just on their own gift in music.

Finally, the author overlooks other factors that would affect students' choosing their music school. A great amount of empirical experience tells us that student may consider their own situation. Does the tuition is reasonable for them? Are the distances from these school to their homes acceptable? Is reputation of the school so helpful to their success? Are there any other famous music schools to be option? Failing to provide information of all these, the author is too optimistic to allege enrollment,

Based on the analysis above, the argument is thoroughly unpersuasive as it stands. To bolster the
