From the speaker’s point of view, the study of history has been paid too much attention on famous people instead of groups of people who have made the most significant events and trends but who have been almost ignored. Undoubtedly, there is much controversy over this issue. Since, it is true that, in most of the previous research, when people trace back the history events, they often just recall the representative figures which made glory deed. However, in my opinion, history is definitely emerged by the contribution of all human being. No matter historian study famous figures or groups of people, the purpose of studying history is to choose perfect samples to tell people the truth behind every historic event.

On one hand, we cannot deny that the study of history looks like to place too much emphasis on individuals, which seems too lopsided and individualistic. Nonetheless it is well known that the history is not just minority’s history, it is the majorities’. If these events are just performed by famous person, there will be no history at all. Every successful revolutions, movements and progressions can demonstrate this view. Take the art movement for instance, when we talk about impressionism revolution, people could recall the famous artists such as Monet or Pissarro, but the real highest point in this movement is made by many non-famous impressionist painters and critics. Due to their large number participations and the special disciplines of aesthetics, people could pay more attention to this new art style. Even if people just recall these famous few, the significant is made by the efforts of groups of people.

On the other hand, we must admit the contribution of famous people in history. In some situations, individual has critical influence with moving on critical events. For example, when we study the revolution of China in the early 20th century, we must pay emphasis on Chairman Mao. Because of him, Chinese people could soon defeat the invaders and win the war. Also, when we learn post-impressionism, we must mention Vincent Van Gogh, since his symbolic and intense color as well as moved and vibrated line cannot be found in any other painters' paintings.
For these reasons, famous few possess some significant contributions which are worthy to learn by historians.

Finally, the purpose of studying history is revealing the truism, not only researching famous people or groups of people. It is possible that history pay much attention on famous people because it is easier to get and summarize the information of individuals. Secondly, during the long historical time, the amount of documents and references of famous people is larger than that of masses. The individual research becomes the best method when people learn history. Therefore, what we learn is not only who lead the revolution or movement, but also the procedure, the impact, and the truth and unchangeable event behind them. Through studying history, people could learn the past, practice today and anticipate tomorrow.

Above all, it is seems too superficial to argue who made the significant events and trends, because history is created by contribution groups of people as well as famous people. When we study history, we must analyze which one could represent the true picture of history, and then make a balance between the targets. Since, the real significant aspect of studying history is to reflect the real picture of the past.

以后发习作最好把题目发出来 不然还要专门去找
整体写的很好 用词也很高深 :)) 只觉得有一两个比较明显的问题
第一段: 题目的主语是study of history 而不是history本身或者purpose of history studies 因此你的第一段并没有明确给出你的论点 只是说历史是两者共同的contribution 但是并没有make it clear that the study of history should not focus on either kind of people, but choose the perfect etc.

On one hand, we cannot deny that the study of history looks like to place too much emphasis on individuals, which seems too lopsided and individualistic. Finally, the purpose of studying history is revealing the truism, not only researching famous people or groups of people(这个观点很好). It is possible that history pay much attention on famous people because it is easier to get and summarize the information of individuals. The individual research becomes the best method when people learn history. Therefore, what we learn is not only who lead the revolution or movement, but also the procedure, the impact, and the truth and unchangeable event behind them. (对名人的研究并不意味着只研究名人)Through studying history, people could learn the past, practice today and anticipate tomorrow.

觉得你的观点挺好的,但是第一段表达没有最后一段清楚。建议你第一段就把最后历史研究的主要作用提出——再现事实,从而推出题目将名人与大众做比较是一个很肤浅的命题。
