You bought a new magazine. The editor of the magazine asked every subscriber to give feedback. Write a letter to the editor that includes the following:
- an explanation why you bought the magazine,
- what you liked and disliked about it,
- what kind of improvements you would recommend.

Dear Editor,

I am writing to you to provide feedbacks of the recent volume of the NewScience Magazine that I subscribed as required.

I am a PhD student of the department of neuroscience, PBIT. My friend subscribed half a year of the NewScience Magazine as a present for my last birthday. I have to say that this is one of the most awesome birthday presents that I have received and I really enjoy reading about news about new scientific discovery and technique innovation in this magazine.

However, I do think there are some improvements that you would like to make. First, I find that the front sizes of some of the articles are too small. Although I do understand that you may probably did this to save some space, it created troubles for me to go through those articles. Second, many magazines today have a discussion column where readers can communicate ideas about the articles in the previous volume of the magazine. I think it will increase the fun if a similar column can be included in your magazine too.

I would like to thank you for bring us such a good magazine, and hope it’ll get better and better.

Some people say that mobile phone plays a major role in their professional life. Others say it plays a more important role in their personal life. Discuss both sides. What is your opinion?
Mobile phones may be one of the most indispensible equipments in our daily life today, that even a 5 years old kid may own one. Both our professional lives and private lives are relying so much on this little piece of metal that it will be a chaos if we simple put it away for 2 or 3 days.

The importance of mobile phones to our private lives speaks for themselves. It is the most common way for people to contact their families and friends. To ask your spouse to pick up the kids when you have to do an unexpected over-hour working? Just make a call. To confirm the attendance of your friends to your home party? Maybe write a text. Get lost on an unfamiliar street? Use google map through mobile phone internet. The mobile phones bring so much convenience to our daily life that we may feel very difficult to handle our life without them anymore.

However, many people may not realize that mobile phones also play an important role in their professional life. The employers use mobile phones to assign urgent jobs to their employers, get information about the process of important cases and provide quick advice/solution to situations that entangling their employers. The employers use mobile phones to report to their employers when she/he is unable to present to the working place. The employees also get remote help from colleagues miles away through a simple call via mobile. More examples can be given but I think the readers may have got the point.

As regarding on whether mobile phones have a more significant impact on our professional lives or private lives, I have to say that it really depends on individuals. The answer of this question may differ from people to people depending on their different professions and life styles. Nevertheless, mobile phones have become a live essential that plays an important role in all aspect of our lives.
