There is a common phenomenon in universities that large amount of students commit to the part-time jobs for different reasons.Some people maintain that students should not take part-time jobs while they are studying in universities.In my opinion,whether or not students should take part-time jobs depends on what type of jobs are doing.More importantly,it relys on the type of students.

There are high-requirements part-time jobs and low-requirements part-time jobs. Low-requirements part-time jobs do not challenge people.They just need students to do same simple works physically.There are also passive and active students.Holding the passive attitudes toward the part-time jobs may lead the students just focus on the results ,to complete the works,to earn money, without thinking the process.The combination of the low-requirements part-time jobs and a passive attitude makes time wasting and have little good effect on their grow-up.They will not learn something from their collegues and increase their knowledge of themselves and the world around them.Even with better part-time jobs,passive students still won’t think or learn much.They probably even prefer the low-requirements part-time jobs because high-requirements jobs are too much work.

On the other hand,active students taking the high-requirement part-time jobs always love to think a lot and concentrate on the process.“High requirements”doesn’t necessarily mean high-reletive to professional,such as excellent skills of accounting,peculiar views of maketing.They could be a waitress in a restaurant that needs comminicate with different people.When active students taking the part-time jobs,they will seize every opportunity to learn from their collegues modestly,to think over the combination of the theory and parctice,to look for self-knowledge.High-requirements part-time jobs inspire them to realize their potenials and choose what they believe in.Unlike passive students,they don’t so focuse on the result,instead enjoy the process.

Part-time jobs may affect the study among passive students.Those part-time jobs maybe a waste of time.For active students who can arrange their time wisely and gain the wonderful experience.The part-time jobs means a precious opportuniy to grow up for them!
