Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? If you do not make sure other people (especially influential people or your employers) know about your strengths and accomplishments, you will never get successful in life.

In this rapid developing society, efficiency is much more important than ever before. Some people argue that if people are not good at show themselves to their employers or those influential people, they will hardly harvest achievement in their life. Personally, I cannot approve with this conclusion more. In this essay, I will give my reasons to support my point of view.

To begin with, only those who are active to show their gifts and personalities can distinguished from millions of people and pushed themselves a way in the crowd. Without a doubt, it is a time with great and many talents. Companies usually have an abundance of capable people and competition there are very fierce. And staff not only faces the challenge from the local people, but also from people all around the world as long with the use of modern technology in the work place which allow the staff to work in different places. If a man does not show their strengths, others will do immediately. Then, since there are so many talents people at hand waiting anxiously for a leader to pick up from, why should he or she wait time and energy to discover himself or herself. So, it is hardly for us to see what the situation would be for a man is shy to performance in front of other people especially their leaders.

Moreover, it is also benefit to teamwork if a man are good at make others know his strength. Perhaps the biggest factor leading to success of a group is team collaboration personality. Those who are active to show themselves often have better communication skills which can make others know them better and are more likely assigned with work which they are better to handle with. Thus, things will progress much more normally and swimmingly. While, when it comes to a quiet person who are very introverted and no one knows what he or she are good at, then it is unavoidable that he or she would be given assignment which are very difficult for him or her. In the end, the pace of the team would be dragged slowly.

Finally, showing one’s strength and accomplishments to influential people can also saves people a lot of grief in their job career. By doing what he is expert in, a man can receive a lot of confidence from the award and appreciate from others. Then he will work with renewed vigor and great enthusiasm. And he is more likely to reach a higher achievement in his career. However, when a man has to do what he is not good at, he will hate that job as time went on for he is often criticized for his mistake. It is beyond question that he would do his work carelessly and achieve nothing in the end.

To sum up, I have to say that the ability to show oneself to the public can do a lot of help to one’s achievement in job career. Not only can it make leader have a better know about a new person, but also it can help people avoid many roundabout way in their career.

At present-day society, independence children are putting into an important state than any other period in the history in our country. Some people argue that children should be given total rights to determine their future themselves. Personally, I think children’s growth cannot leave their parents’ guide although it is necessary to develop their ability to stand alone.

To begin with, for those children who are not well prepared to make their own choice about their future, parents help is serious important. It is quite normal for teenagers to be fed up with their school work and reject to go on studying any more. They would rather stay at home to be freelancers, doing whatever they like, such as writing, painting, or programming computer games. These adolescents, who are apt to rebel against authority, always hate being ordered about and act as independent. However, they have no clear idea about themselves, indeed. It is very likely for them to go on a bad way if they cannot receive right guidance from their parents.

Moreover, I believe in the saying that two heads are better than one. Although there are also some adolescents who are iron self-control, they cannot go without their parents’ aid, either. When choosing a major in college, most students have no definite idea about what a major is really about. They don’t know which field of study is suitable for them, either. While, parents are usually watching their children grow, they know exactly about the strength and weak points about their children more definitely. Since, they have had years of work experience, they have a more direct feeling about what a career is really about. Then, they can offer hands to help them to make a better decision at that time.

Finally, it can help to deepen understanding and friendship between parents and children by working together in the decision of some problems relating the children’s future. Parents nowadays are too busy to have a good talk with their children, nowadays. Children are very easy to feel confusion and lonely. They really need consideration sometimes, especially during special time, such as in the determining of their future. If parents could think in the feet of their children, and discuss kindly and patiently with them to help them find out a solution to their questions and finally make a correct decision, the children would certainly appreciate it very much. Then, they will trust their parents more, and would like to share more things with the parents.

In conclusion, if parents can put away their autocracy and have a good talk with their children to help them make decision, then it will not only benefit their children’s future a lot but also promote to the relationship between parents and children.

Do you agree or disagree: having jobs with low paying salary and being high secure is better than jobs with high salary but being easy to lose.

In this world of serious competition, many people are longing for a peace and security life. Instead of simply working for the money and security, which I admit are important, I suggest we should take a second job that will teach us a second skill. The job areas which are easy to lose often have more serious competition than those steady ones. Since competition leads to progress, I would not agree with the idea provided in this composition test.

To begin with, pursuing an interesting and well-paid job with higher risks can well cultivate the ability to think independently and study the question. People seem to behave better under pressure. Those people who are under stress tend to express their full range of potential. Just like a higher school students who are going to take an examination can do a much better job in their review work, many good ideas are thought up under serious pressure. There is no denying that higher-paid jobs are often much more difficult than those lower-paid ones and call for more capability. The competition there is more serious, too. So if people want to host their position, they should work harder and more effectively. They would be more engaged in their jobs with their minds thinking quickly. Practice make perfect. By doing these risky jobs, they can get a lot of precious experience and their ability to study and solve problems can be improved by the same time. These would ensure them a better future in their career.

Moreover, higher income can help improve people's material and cultural life and broaden their outlook. There is no denying that it is better to have some money at the tip of one’s fingers. We do have to dip into our pockets to pay for many things ranging from basic necessities of life, such as food, clothing and shelter to spiritual nourishment, such as books, music and arts. Higher-paid jobs can offered us enough money to do what are necessary to us and what we are longing for. We would live a hard life and even our children would not be able to receive education if we are poor. Besides, with well-paid jobs, we can even afford for a trip to travel around the world. We can experience different culture, enjoy beautiful scenery, taste delicious food and make friends with foreigners. Definitely, our minds would be opened up in the end.  
       

Finally, while furthering their own progress and harvesting a better life by undertaking a job with higher salaries and bigger risks, people have also made contributions to the country. A society without those people who are likely to perform a daring act is like a bulb without electricity. Innovation result from adventure. Achievements are often made by those people who dare to take a risk. The great modern advances in chemotherapy have come from a risky discovery. Man’s first moon landing is also a conspicuous achievement based on adventurous mind. Success would hardly be an achievement that invites acclaim if it is just gained by avoiding of catastrophe and risk.
       

To sum up, a brave person who dares to take risks often succeeds and our society calls for those brave people. Stress is very common among human beings and we should accept it with alacrity.

Although I admit that we should stick to value orientation of justice and justification, I would not approve of the ideal suggestion for all the movies and television programs to reward virtue and punish vice.

To begin with, since film-making is now accepted as an art-form, it should be given free space to develop rather than grow as an ideal dream. Art is the distillation of life and it should embody all the sentience. There is an old saying that gives a rogue rope enough and he will hang himself. Actually, often the good suffer, and often the wicked prosper in some places or some period in history. Chinese society remained feudal for 3,000 years, during that time, hard-working farmers suffered a lot. The old society turned humans into ghosts. Just as one well-known Chinese ballet called The White-haired Girl shows. The opera "White Haired Girl" moved millions of Chinese to tears with this true story and although it belongs to the tragedy, no one can deny its position as a milestone in the history of Chinese opera. The great theatre “Romeo and Julia” by Shakespeare is also this kind of story, but it still blinks as a bright star in the area of art nowadays. Therefore, directors should be given freedom to work.

       
Moreover, it would be dull to watch the same theme movies and television, which have none suspense and people can easily make out the ending at first. It is very necessary for directors to introduce suspense into a movies and televisions. I think it would be much more interesting if the author keeps the reader on tenterhooks till the last chapter. And most big make and interesting televisions are of this kind, such as the film “Godfather” and the soap opera “Housewives”. The rhythm doesn't slow down and there is a lot of suspense. Those movies and televisions have none suspense often occurs in children’s play as a way of education. However, to adults who have their own definition, there is no need for this concern to exit.  

Finally, human character is much more complicate than we can imagine, we cannot simply label people with good or bad. And our Chinese people believe that man's nature at birth is good. I think directors should try to show what causes people become bad, such as bad environment, sad experience or some accident. Films should be made with more thought-provoking. Besides, there are also many cases that there are no bad people at all. Such as the film Titanic shows. Titanic is regarded as his Best film so far.

To sum up, it would be much more attractable if films and televisions are give freedom to make their own story.

At present-day society, education for all-around development of students had attracted our attention. Some people argue that youngsters should learn art and music as well as math, science, history and language. Personally, although I agree that there are indivisible historical origins between art education and formal education such as science, history and language, I would not support the idea that art education should be imposed on youngsters as other subjects.

To begin with, the main social functions of art are acknowledgement function, moral function and aesthetic function, which make it sure that art-education will do
benefit to moral education, intellectual education and aesthetic education. There is no denying that art and music play an important part in our daily life. We can seldom see people who are learned in music or art commit a crime. Art and music can help people built a positive and strong quality. When people listen to soft music, they are pretty relaxing and soothing. While strongly rhythmic rock music can make people happy and exciting. Not only art and music itself is beautiful, but it can also make our life more beautiful. 9

Besides, we cannot enforce younger children to study art and music at school since they already suffer a lot from heavy homework assignments. Some, particularly boys, react violently to be forced into formal education too soon because of the need for schools to do well in tests at twelve. If they are demanded to study art and music, it is unavoidable for their parents to ask them to take a serious exams in the area of art and music. Of course, it will take a lot of time and energy for youngsters to receive art education. In the end, they would get sick and tired of school work because they seldom have free time to play with others.

Moreover, it is impossible for all the students to study art and music at school. Art education differs a lot from formal education in the aspect of ways of teaching and learning. It requires the teacher to guide students face to face and one by one in the class. Sometimes, the guidance should last more than half an hour. Since the number of students in a class in China is usually larger than 50, it is very hard for the class to go on with efficiency.
