" Any decision-whether made by government, by a corporation, or by an individual person-must take into account future conditions more than present conditions"

Before regret, one should think twice before making a decision. In order to make a regretless choice, people must take both the current and future condition into consideration.

It will be bad or even fatal if you do not attach importance to future conditions. When Hitler made up his mind to conquer Russia, he didn't expected the very winter that finally destroyed his dream, after that, he lost everything. He just noticed that his current military power was invincible and thus he failed.

When a country need to make a policy in order to solve a current affair, then politicians must think much of the present and future situation. However, there are some cases that must put current conditions in the first place. Like chairman Deng, who made the guideline "One country, two policy " which turn out to be effective in solving the domestic issue. At that time he knew that if he made the decision, there might be numerous of problems in the future. However, he carefully took the present relationship between the mainland in china and HongKong and made that decision. At last, he succeed.

Nowadays, people are skilled in making decisions. A case in point is the environmental protection when a fast development is needed. Unlike in the past when we only place our attentions in the pursuit of economic benefit which turned out to be harmful to our plant, we take both the future and present conditions into account at present.

In sum, the importance of future conditions is equal to the significance of present conditions which means we must take both of them into harmonious account in order to create a satisfactory result.
