It's back-to-school time for many NFL jerseys, and Mike Bucek remembers how that felt as a boy growing up in a Chicago baseball family.

"My first baseball game was at Wrigley Field, NFL jerseys but I grew up a White Sox fan," sfvdgfgf5 recalls Bucek, now vice president of marketing and business development for the Royals. "I vividly remember trying to get to another game or two before we went back to school, because once we went back to school, you probably weren't going back to another game, maybe one or two. You'd get vouchers for White Sox tickets based on school attendance. As a kid you'd look at the schedule and figure out if you could get to one more game.

"I remember going to a game at Wrigley in September as a kid and  official NFL jerseys thinking it was middle of winter already."

If every baseball season is a rite of passage, then so is the inevitable tug  NFL jerseys on sale of academic reality. Today Bucek holds onto that feeling as do so many across the game right now -- eager to see the faces of young fans who line up for the Fun Run this Saturday after a home game against the Yankees and those handed a Royals Jersey Cooler as they enter Kauffman Stadium Aug. 21.
