有人认为20年后汽车使用量将下降

There always have been some debates on the implication of the technology.When it comes to the cars,many people think there will be fewer in the twenty years.However,in my point of view,car is still a crucially important transportation,and will not be fewer in the following years.



First of all,car is the most common used transportation nowadays,which has far more advantages than shortcomings.People like its convenience.Try to imagine what else you can take when you want to attend a spring-outing in a remote villege.You can only take subways in downtown, trains in permenent trace, flight for long travles. No only does the car have the convenience we mentioned,but it also has the merits such as privacy,relatively low price.When you take any other transportation,you can not have such privicy.What will happen to you if you sing loudly in a bus?Akward,.both you and the other passagers will feel.



In addtion,we can not notice any clue that the car will be repalce in any other form of transportation.In fact,the growing population witnesses a rapidly increase of the car need. Usually speaking,the transiton of a old tool to a new one advances gradually.Back to the invention of cars,it tooks many years to take place of horses.This slow pace may due to the cost,because an newly developed vehicle will be overwhelmingly expensive,while the improvement of a vehicle will cost much less.Until now,and to predictable future,the car is still the mainstream purchase of most family.



Furthermore,the economic development brought by cars is so essential to any country.We can still remember what happened to the United States government last years after the annoucement of bankrupt of GM.The government tried every means to prevent it.Besides the huge amount of tax collected from the automobile companies,the unemployment rate can be decreasesd by the existence of car industry,let alone the benefit of other industries such steel,tire corporations.



Admittedly,what some people argue about the pollution of the cars or the extinction of the crude oil are definitely right.However, we can simply change the fuel used by car,rather than change the whole transportation,since the whole supply chain and technique of automobile industry are so mature today.Although according to some recent reaserches of new energy cars,most of people can not afford such inventions, the development of technology is so rapid that some of us may even forget how we lived yesterday.Take the computer for instance.It has only been decades since it was been invented,but it make our life unprecedentedly different.



To conclude,we all have responsibility to maintain a healthy environment for our offsprings,but so many merits of the existence of cars indicate that the decrease of car number will not happen in the next two decades.
