The lecturer talks about research conducted by a firm that used the group system to handle their work, and the result of the research refutes the opinion in the passage that the best way to approcah cerain new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team.

Initially, according to the lecture, the member of a team become “free-ride”, they contribute nothing to the team rather than devote their intelligents and experitise to the team,
the achievements made by the individual will
go to group members, the individual gian very little repudation..

In addition, the lecturer refute the view in the passage that a team will work more quickly and come up creative solutions by saying that the team work more slowly. As the team have to organize many meetings to reach consensus among all the members which waste lots of time.

Finally, the speaker states that influetial people might emerge ,they
may vote the beneficial idea and take what they think is right which is actually wrong, what’s worse nobody can stop them, which challenges the statements by the writer that everyone feel better carrying out the work that is made by their voice and the individual team member has a greater chance to shine.
In the suitation, right idea will be abandoned, the project will fail and everyone should be blamed rather than have a great chance to shine.

The lecture stated that the three theories that were used to explain the function of the buildings were unconvincing.

Initially, the speaker refuted the view in the passage that the buildings were purely residential. As there are few fire places to support 100 families to cook, actually there are only enough fire places  in the big house to support 10 families.

In addition, the opinion  in the passage that the buildings were used to store food supplies especially grain maize  is in conflict with the professor's opinion. According to the professor, there are no trance of maize and maize containers in the room which means the room cannot be used to store maize.

Ultimately, the speaker casted doubt on  the opinion that the buildings served as ceremonial centers, by stating that there are other materials besides pot in the building, including building materials, and even construction tools. It is entirely possible that the pot as well as other materials are left by the construction workers.

In general, the speaker vote the three explanations that were used to explain the function of the buildings in the passage
