"Recently we signed a contract with The Fly-Away Pest-Control Company to provide pest-control services at our fast-food warehouse in Palm City, but last month we discovered that over $20,000 worth of food there had been destroyed by pest damage. Meanwhile, the Buzzoff Pest-Control Company, which we have used for many years, continued to service our warehouse in Wintervale, and last month only $10,000 worth of the food stored there had been destroyed by pest damage. Even though the price charged by Fly-Away is considerably lower, our best means of saving money is to return to Buzzoff Company for all our pest-control services."

1. The author’s assertion is based on the premise that since the worth of food stored in Wintervale is less than that in Palm City, Buzzoff Pest-Control Company does better than Fly-Away Pest-Control Company in pest-control services. The premise should be highly questioned since without detailed information about the weather, geological conditions, it is too hasty to draw the conclusion.这样有可能P城市环境情况恶劣，害虫灾害多，损失$20,000已经是很少的一部分了，如果让B公司在F城市做，有可能损失更多。

2. Even if that is the case, what about the overall number of the food in warehouse. Maybe there are much more food stored in Palm City than Wintervale, it is understandable to lose &20000 for F Company, if it was B Company, it may perhaps lose more.

3. The author fails to provides the detailed cost of management. Supposing that if the management fee is $500, although he lose $20000, while B is 20000&10000,  it is obvious that F company is more economical.

1）        In the first place, the mere fact that last month the the worth of food destroyed by pest damage in Palm City doubled the counterpart in Wintervale lends scant support to the arguer’s assumption that the Buzzoff Pest-Control company is better for pest-control services. To begin with, no evidence about the condition of storage and difference of weather of the two place has been provided. Perhaps, the warehouse in Buzzoff is more airproof and weather there is more dry. Then, even if  the storage and wether condition of the two places are the approximately same, the arguer fails to convince us without providing exact storage scare. It’s high likely that the storage scare in Palm City is much more grand, and as a result, the actual percentage of food damaged by pest in Palm City is smaller. Moreover, the comparison of services of two company in only month is insufficient to prove that the Buzzoff company provides better services later. Since the Fly-Away compant just began to take over the job in Palm city, it’a highly possible that before they take over the job, some of the food has already been destroyed by pest.
2）        In the second place, even granted that the Buzzof Pest-Control company provides better service, the arguer still fails to convince us that they should use Buzzoff Company for their peat-control services. Firstly, a comprehensive evaluation about the two companies has not been done to prove which one is more suitable, with taking into account the price and their performance. Even though the Buzzoff company did provede better service, the high charged price probably gives rise to the decrease of pofits of the food-distribution company. Furthermore, even if returning to Buzzoff Company does save more money than continuing  using Fly-Away company, it ‘s still a little arbitary to assert that their best means of saving money is to reuse Buzzoff Company without out the possibility that there are much cheaper company with good sevice.
