昨天签证回来，被美男check,是预料中的事情。在签证之前，几个朋
友为我分析，大龄，未婚，6年（包括3年在职硕士）工作经验，这些
都是我签证的硬伤，之所以被check,得益于比较充分的准备（来源于
对专业的认识和工作经验），其中包括两封很supportive and
convinceble的SL, 这里不便于提名，对他们表示衷心的感谢，特别是
美国的教授，亲自写的，很全面，我们交流很多。
回来后一直想写些经验给大家，直到现在才有时间，很是不好意思。
有些存属个人观点，希望对后来签证的朋友有所帮助，不要误导你们。
先说签证的形式：对于这点总体形势可能比前一段时间好一些，更重
要的是你的自信，即使形式不好，也要相信你可以通过，他们会给你
表现的机会。
首先要找些理由说服你自己，其次才能说服签证官。要对自己的人生
有个规划，找个适合自己的社会定位，无论是学术方面还是职业。一
位朋友说过：真正对自己进行反思和规划的时候，是在签证被句之
后（对签证的学生来讲有一定的道理）。其实应该在签证之前做到这
一点。
我觉得对于想做学术的年轻人来说，出国对于个人以后的发展很有帮
助，但是不要看的太重，在中国发展的机会也很多。不要对vo说中国
的学术水平低，培养的博士质量不高，老外很反感，况且我们也应该
有尊严。
应24日各位签友的强烈要求，这里需要提到一个长相实在不敢恭维的
mm,第一句寒暄的话分贝太高，全场大多数的人都有反应，我是被吓
了一下，她在签证官面前大声说她妈妈死于癌症，同去的同济mm对她
最为看不惯，觉得那是对她死去的妈妈的不尊重。签证官对她始终保
持一种微笑，不过确实是一种变味的微笑(sorry)。
在美国人面前，我们尽量主动展示出自己个人的亮点所在，老美很欣
赏这点，也会给你机会让你展示。几个vo很是敬业，据你的时候也很
真诚，尤其使HFMM,始终微笑听你讲，而且不时点头，笑起来很是灿烂
，当她微笑说SORRY的时候，你可能才意识到你才成了她刀下的一个牺
牲品（碰到她一定要保持警惕，我们其中有两个体验最深)。vo签过n
多的人，很会揣摩每个人的心里（从衣着打扮，谈吐神情），不折不
扣的中国通。
ME:good morning, sir,here is my card
VO:good morning. (look at the I-20) So you will go to
   Univesity of ......,
ME:yes, sir
VO:study what?
ME:Study for my PhD degree in ..... department
VO:Why phd?
ME:After years working experience I found many engineering
  problems and interesting natural phenomenons can't be
  expressed by me now,  so I need the system and intensive PhD education.
VO: Why this university?
ME: Several professors in our department had worked there for
   years as the visiting professor, and our two department
   have cooperation for years. The professor in our department
   recommend me and I find I found my future tutor's promising
   research areas match my interest, and we communicate for
   many times, and we showed mutual interest.
VO: Why in united states not in China?
ME:I have studied .... and worked in this area in China for
   ten years, and I want to change the academical enviroenment,
    you know it's not quite good for a people stay in one
    palce for long time, especially for the young faculty.
    I need more fresh idea, in chinese saying "the higher you
    stand, the far away you will see". ( the guy is scaning my
   ds form，and I caught this opportunity). Also I found the
   professor promising research areas match my interest, in China
   I don't have the opportunity to find the proper tutor and
   the proper research area. The promising research area is very
  important to the academic achievement.
VO: The specific of your study?
ME: Monte-Carluo Simulation and experiment.
VO: The application?
Me: 主要应用在微机电系统（有点敏感），尽量回避。When the structure
    become very small, the mechanical properties such as
    stress-strain relationship change greatly. (VO stare at me,)
    我马上对他解释 we study the the structure's mechanical properties
     such as stress and strain relation and thermal response...
VO: The application?
ME: 看来回避不成。In the micro-structure, we will study the size effect
    of the structure. (VO nod)
VO: What's your plan after graduation?
Me： I will come back to our university and join the current
    research group, blablabla..... Vo 在看资料，一直没有看我，
    我就有机会讲了几个理由。
    顺便很自然的将国内教授的SL递给他，他很认真的看了一遍。
    我想可能是在这个问题上回答太多和比较convinceble的SL,
    VO 放弃了致命的问题:WHY NOT STAY IN U.S.A?
VO: So you have worked for six years?
ME: Yes,
VO: What's the salary?
ME: 我如实告诉了他。
vo: Your master major?
Me: ....., 这时我主动给了他resume.
   之后vo在思考做决定，我当时心跳加速，我想可能有7-8成的把握pass.
   想起了美国教授亲自写的sl(非常好）,如果不给vo看感觉有点对不住
   那位教授的劳动，虽然里面提到了敏感专业，如果check,我得到visa
   的机率更大，按照搏奕论原则，只好确保check.
Me: Here is the SL from the professor in University of ...,
    would you like to see it?
vo: yeah. vo很仔细看了一下，然后用荧光笔在MEMS敏感专业处划了一下。
   我想一定是check我了，我一句话也没有说。
   vo 把我的所有材料翻了一遍。
vo: you are checked,
me: When I can get the result?
vo: four weeks later.
me: thank you.
