After graduating from the high school, students can decide whether to attend college or not. In my opinion, students who decide to go for afurther education have 3 important reasons.

Firstly, student would like to know more knowledge about the fieldthey are deeply interested in. When they studied in the high school, some ofthe subjects have caught them. For instance, some of the students feel fascinatedwith Mathematics or Physical. They feel like achieving more about the theoryof relativity. College professors can provide somepieces of useful advice in understanding the profound theory. It’s probablythat they would be willing to discussing problems with others and feel happyabout that.

Secondly, student decide to attend college before finding jobs,because they think a college graduate student is much more competitive in thejob market. They believe that in college they can not only acquire usefulskills, but also obtain more choices. For example, students in CommercialCollege can learn how to deal with problems in the stocks market and worktogether with their business partners through their homework or the summervocation program. They achieve the ability to be a businessman during theircollege time. What’s more, they will make large amount of friends. On the onehand, these friends may be their co-workers or even boss in future. On theother hand, the more people one recognizes the more opportunities one canacquire in finding jobs.

Additionally, a college is somewhat a micro society, an environmentmuch more like a society than high school but a little less complicated thanthe real world. Students learn how to live in the real world before they faceto it one day. As a college student, they have to care about somethingdifferent from the high school but familiar in the society. Study is not theonly thing they have to think about any more. Students have to consider moreabout their lives, which maybe think over more by the parents before. Thingsare pretty realistic, such as where to live, what to eat, buy a shirt or ajacket. As they live apart from the parents, they would become more and moreindependently and adjust to the society.
