The best way to improve the quality of the education in a country is to increase teacher’s salary?

Currently, more and more individuals and countries begin to be aware of the important part of the overall national strength, the basic criterion for people to justify a country, not only including the development of the economy and military, but also involving the level of the education. So, in this case, how to improve the quality of the education, could the only and most important factor be the teacher’s salary? The answer is clearly not.

As we know, the member of the education is not only the teacher, the student is also the inevitable factor. The students’ attitude and interests, whether they consider studying is interesting and significant for their success, always have huge influence to the effective of education. A typical example is about myself, when I was ten years old, my mother wanted me to play piano as a distinctive skill, so, she paid a lot of money to let me study in a school, where there were sufficient equipments and outstanding teachers, however, I did not like it, even detested it, for this matter, the effect and quality of studying and education is the lowest. As a result, the interests and attitude to studying by student have closed relationship with the quality of the education.

More importantly, the environment of education is also an indispensable factor. Within first-class teachers and high-quality student, nevertheless, it would be less effective and even slowing down the improvement of education without the good environment and materials conditions of the education, including cleanly classroom, integrant and basic teaching equipment, and also the necessary mess hall. As you can image, a university that provides students high-level knowledge, only has the teachers and students, no sufficient books, no fundamental equipment, no inevitable experiment, how to guarantee the normal teaching, so far as to improve the quality of education? The answer is absolutely clear.

Certainly, it is undeniable that the salary of teacher should not be disregarded for improving the development of the education. High salary could be an attractive incentive for teachers to perform better and active in school, and then improve the quality of education. Moreover, the high salary of one school, might also attract teachers, who are in other schools, to employ, thereby, strengthen the faculties.

In a nutshell, education is a complicated and communicative process, the factors, involving teachers, students, and the environment, all influence the quality of the education. Only one or partial increasing could not be the prolonged and significant way to improve the quality of the education.
