考完G很久了，生疏了好多，而且对于托福的写作套路还是不太清楚，像今天的题目，觉得没什么结构思路，只是把自己能想到的写上了。
另外不知道T的作文有没有“雷同”的问题，因为考G的时候，寄托和太傻的帖子都被ETS作为雷同的对比库，所以一直只敢用word附件，怕被判自己与自己雷同。

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to spend money on travelling and vocation than to save money for future?
How to spend money is a problem that involves very much personal value judgment. The modern economic theory assumes that everybody is rational and spends the money to maximize the personal utility. As different people may have different preferences, their choices of consumption bundles differ greatly. The question of whether money should be spent on travelling or vocations or be saved for future use is a problem that may have different answers across different people. Personally, my answer is I would save the money now for future usage.

To spend money on travelling and vocation is an appealing choice, since it offers pleasant experience. Travelling provides people (with) the chances to see beautiful sceneries, visit places of historical interest or great natural beauty, and meet people from different places as well as enjoying the delicious meals typical in certain areas. It also frees people from the tiring daily work and offers a chance of refreshment. Spending money on travelling and vocation is without doubt a good choice for those people who already have certain amount of fortune and do not have to worry about earning a living.

But since I am still a student relying (on) my parents to pay my tuition fees, I think it is a better choice for me to save money as much as possible. As a student with little income, I think the most important task for me at present is to work hard on my lessons and prepare myself for future career. Since I am now planning to go abroad for further studies in the United States, which means my family has to spend a lot of money on my tuition fees in the future, I feel the current situation requires me to save money so as to reduce the economic burden of my parents as much as possible. As I am still young, I can have a lot of time and opportunities to go on travelling after I have a good job and stable income in the future. So, it is not the best choice to spend money on travelling at present, although it provides exciting experience for me. Currently, the most efficient usage of money for me is to save it for my future study, from which I can benefit a lot, such as having better chances of entering prestigious university and have better career opportunities, which can provides me with high salaries that I can spend on travelling and other entertainment activities in the future.

结构上觉得还是来个总结吧，如果时间上还允许的话。有一些小词重复的频率有点高比如different 、as。最后一段I开头的句子比较多。注意小介词。这些都是小问题了，我觉得你写的很好！

It has become more and more widely accepted that besides economic development, the government should also focus on environmental protection as the problem of pollution and the damage of the ecosystem is becoming worse. However, since the protection of environment involves some sacrifice on the economic development, it is under hot debate on which aspect should the government(s) pay more attention.


The ultimate role of the government, in my opinion, is to protect the right of its people, including the right to be economically well-off and the right to enjoy a clean environment. What the government should do first is to guarantee the basic rights. In a country where its people are still suffering from hunger, the most urgent task for the government is to develop the economy so that its people can survive and have higher living standard. While in developed countries where the basic need(s) of most people are satisfied, the government should focus more on the problem of the environment, which may threaten the future of people's lives.



It is unreasonable to require a country in which people still have problems of being feed to pay most of its effort on environmental protection. How can we blame someone in danger of starving to death for trying to make something to eat? Without protecting the basic human rights of being alive, it is meaningless to spend money on protecting the environment-- nobody can survive to enjoy the benefit of a good environment. (这段要写也放在最后，写成“正正反”的结构吧，不然感觉有些混淆)


However, for most of the governments in the world, the problem of damage of environment is beginning to threaten the quality of people's current life, as well as the life of the future generation. There is no clean water to drink, no fresh water to breathe. There are less and less natural resources that can be used, both for current generation and the future generation. It is urgent to protect the environment. Economic development will be meaningless without healthy life. Sick people are willing to pay huge amount of money in order to recover from the disease because they know that they cannot enjoy the benefits of their wealth if they cannot live any longer. This applies to the whole human society as well-- the economic development will also be meaningless if the environment is destroyed.(这一段可以联合第二段一起，写成第二个论证)



The crucial task for all the government, in my opinion, is to maintain a balance between the economical development and environmental protection. Which one of them should be paid more attention really depends the situation of that country. One should not make arbitrary conclusion without taking the particular situation into consideration.

Television, as an important kind of modern media, plays a crucial role in people's daily life. More than 90 percent of families now have access to television. Watching TV is one of the major ways of entertainment for many people. People watch sports game, soap dramas and talk shows on TV, as well as educational programmes(建议用美式英语programs) such as discoveries (Discovery, 节目名字不能复数的吧,还有大写) and the world of animals (同上). I definitely disagree with the idea that all TV programmes should be educational. It would be a disaster to the television broadcasting industry, and people will lose an important way of entertainment.

Admittedly, educational programmes are beneficial to the society. Such programmes broaden the horizon of the audience, making knowledge available to everybody ranging from pre-school children and housewives to professional experts. Thanks to the wide spread of educational programmes, people who have never entered university can gain knowledge about the atoms and molecules, and the planets and stars in the universe; people who have never travelled outside their own county can know about the culture and customs of people in other countries. The advantages of educational TV programmes seem more significant if we take it into consideration that such knowledge are(is) almost costless: just turn on the TV and the programmes are all there!

However, nobody will feel comfortable if they turn on the TV to find nothing else than educational programmes. Entertainment is an essential part of human life, providing people with refreshment after a tired day of work or study. Most people (people 可以换个说法，类似citizens) regard watching TV as their main source of relaxation. The popularity of TV series and talent show all around the world proves how crazy people can be about watching TV. If there is no longer any entertaining programmes on shown, people will feel that they are depraved of an important source of happiness.

In addition, entertainment programmes produces huge economic benefits for the broadcast companies, as well as for the advertising industry. Broadcast companies are willing to pay millions of dollars in order to have the right to broadcast the NBA games or the Olympic Games because of the huge profits such programmes can gain. Companies pay lots of money on television ads shown during the break of the entertainment programmes. If there are mere educational programmes, not only will the amount of audience decreases, but the broadcasting industry and advertising industry also shrink as a result.

In conclusion, although educational programmes bring a lot of benefits, it will have negative effects if there are only such programmes on shown. A combination of entertainment ones and educational ones would be the perfect choice for the society.
