第一次写，很迷茫，求高人指点迷津

People are growing to realize the importance of socialization of children under the circumstances of fast globalization and technology development considering the old saying,' the children growing up today is the pillar of the society in the future'. The speaker in the title statement advocates that the destiny of society is dependent on how children are socialized. In my point of view, however, I do not agree with the speaker for his exaggerating the significance of socialization of children unilaterally.

First of all, I must admit that how to socialize children can really influence our society. Children can improve comprehensive competence and social skills when they take part in the process of socialization. Furthermore, the degree of socialization of children plays back action to the society. Coming into information age, nobody lives in the pigeon hole isolated from the society. To be a true person, one must know how to communicate with friends, collaborate with colleagues and behave decently. The effective way to learn these society skills is socialization--acting and participating in their society. One might say that people can learn such skills through reading and browsing internet. However, can anyone really grasp them other than by participating in the society?
For instance, if one expects to understand our society through only reading, he might become a prig without practical experience. Moreover, society within children possessing high degree of socialization seems to be more effective and harmonious than the one without.

Although I agree that socialization of children influence the society, I don’t hold the idea that society's destiny is only dependent on how children are socialized. There are other factors more important than socialization can determine the society such as policy, economy, religion, culture and education. As far as I'm concerned, children get extraneous progress through socialization which hones a child’s ability to express himself while internal enhancement through education which imparts to a child great merits such as diligence, bravery, honesty and goodness. And these merits are essential for a society to deserve a prosperous future. People without such merits would become ignoble; society without people having such merits would be turbulent and commotional. Only when a society recognize the importance of the merits of humanity can the society be possible to have glorious future.

What's more, the progress of society does not absolutely obey the blueprint that we set for it. No one can forecast every detail of the society in the late 21st century. As a consequence, it is impossible for people to find a method that can encourage children to constitute an expected better society as the vagary way in which society proceeding is vicissitudinous. To make up for it, what we can do is to facilitate children to be adapted to society in order to avoid detrimental impact brought by abruptly social change.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that how to socialize children can really influence our society but can’t determine its destiny.
