In my view, the most significant events and trends in history are made possible not only by the efforts of these famous individuals ,but also by the contributins made by groups of people.
To begin with, in fact, the individuals make a significant contribution to the progress of  the history events .On  one hand, individual as a leader to help the happening of the innovation of the society and the fight for the right of the people.Arc of joan lead the france people to fight against the invasion of english and eventually achieve a sucess.she demonstrated the power of individual belief and aspiration for freedom.By the study of her thoughts and actions ,people today can learn that no matter what the troubles we confront, we should not give up the aspiration for fighting against the fate and we should believe us and overcome the difficulties by ourselves.On the other hand, individual can give people courage and change the way to fight for rights.Martin luther king as the leader of the movement of black people's rights put forward a new way of nonviolence to fight for our rights and which untimately force the enactment of civil right act.
Although the individual considerable contributions to the event and trends in history, we should not ignore the efforts made by the groups of people who actually determin the progress of our society.No things can be sucessfullu done without the participation of the groups of people.If Arc of joan had not get the support of the france people, she would not win the war against the english invadors .Also if the markin did not receive the advocate of his fellows, it is impossible for him to change the polic of the country.
so if you want to make possible the innovation of society and those astonishing event, the first thing you must to acquire is the support of people.
our society is composed of people and events and trends are created by people living in the society, and the consequence of these innovations is only taken on by people.Accordingly, only groups of people can accomplish these innovations and the stars in history are only the representives of groups of people.
Now that the individuals are on behalf of groups of people, the study of history placing much emphasis on individuals is in fact equally pay much attention on the groups of people as well.
In sum, either the individuals or groups of people both play a incomparably binding role in the development of society .
