#130: how children are socialized todaydetermines the destiny of society. Unfortunately we have not yet learned how toraise children who can help bring about a better society


No doubt, the future of society lies in the hands of our youngestgeneration, children. So we take every step we can trying to figure out what isthe best for children. But it’s still hard to sort out the best way to raisethem. I fundamentally agree with the speaker’s claim, except that socializationshould be taken a great part of children’s development.


Admittedly, as a part of society, we all need to be socialized inorder to be accepted by this society and live harmonious with anyone else init. That’s the basic meaning of socialization. What’s more, our nature makes upwith metrics and evils. Without displine,
given the numerous evidence ,children are easily turn bad. Thesocialization is just the best teacher who can train them how to behave properly.And I believe what lies behind it is one of the viewpoint from Evolution thatwe live together and become a community because we can have more chance tosurvive. So it is easily to identify whether this person belong to our societysimply by judging if he/she behave similarly with us. We can’t live in worldjust by ourselves. Like the poetry said, nobody is an isolated island.


Despite what kind of stuff the process of socialization would teachus and the children, one thing is sure that we are train to be same, not exactlysame but within some extent. It’s like procrustean measures. How could asociety moves forward by the people who doing the same things, repeat the samemeasures in everyday? On this ground, I truly believe that children cannotbring a better future of society just simply by socialization. They just canensure this society won’t go wrong. Creative minds, innovatory abilities, imaginationsare essential for one’s success which will contribute to the development ofsociety. One’s spiritual also determine whether he or she can success or not.Einstein once said, the ideals which had lighted his way and gave him courageto face life cheerfully had been kindness, beauty, and truth. In the spirit of chasingthe truth, can make sure children won’t use their creative minds on the wrongway.


In my opinion, education for children which somehow including thesocialization is the only thing that can foresee whether children will bring abetter society or not. Through well-established, all-round educational system,children will learn how to think and analysis problems in their own ways. Andthe most important, children will learn how to fulfill themselves in future.Through such education, children can learn how to emerge their ideas and alsolearn respect others thought which will contribute to a more tolerant anddiverse society. All thoughts in such a society lead to spark of remarkableworks which can surly contribute to developing society ends well.


To sum up, including the socialization, education offers a betterplatform and opportunity for children to learn how to become a better self anduseful person in society. We should take whatever steps are needed to supplythe best educational system for children for promising future.
