Help! Boston University Mathematical Finance PhD Interview

有没有谁面试过 Boston University Mathematical Finance PhD。master 的面经倒是很多， 没见过Phd 的。大牛， 学长帮帮忙 。。。。。。


(1) 面试一般问什么问题？ 需要准备research proposal吗? 我的 PS 上提了几个他们的prof. 有没有可能是他们interview


(2) 这个program怎样？没怎么听人讨论过。 这个program一般招多少人？

Who is your intervier? My PhD offer is got after an phone interview. My interview is from the leader of admission committee. She only introduce their department and the PhD program to me. And then ask me that if I have some questions to ask her about their program. That is all and one week later, I got the offer from her.

If your intervier is someone from admission committee, I guess that you do not need to worry too much. It might quite similar to mine. But if your intervier is someone that you have contacted before or someone that has matched background or research interests with you, you may be asked some research questions.

Whatever which it will be, you will always need to prepare all the things in your PS and CV.
