Regarding your inquiry:

To cancel your computer-based (CBT) Analytical Writing section of the GRE®
; Split General Test and receive a refund equivalent to half of the original
test fee, you must contact the appropriate registration center no later than
three full days before your appointment (not including the day of your test o
r the day of your request).

After you have taken the CBT Analytical Writing Test, you may still receive a
$35 partial refund for the paper-based Verbal and Quantitative sections of t
he GRE® Split General Test. You must contact the appropriate registration
center no later than three full days before your paper-based appointment (no
t including the day of your test or the day of your request). If you have not
taken the CBT Analytical Writing test, you are not eligible for any refund.
