本人是茫茫考G大军中的一名小卒，在备战时难免会碰到一些棘手的问题，至少到现在我还没完全搞懂。所以在此借助寄托这平台，希望能得到大家的帮助。小弟在此先拜谢了。

此题答案选的是C，但我觉得空格这一个次应该跟 constants of human affairs意思相近，并不是现在所独特的现象吧。

(D) uneasy

(E) adamant

此题答案选的是D，但我觉得好像是E，由于nonetheless是一个否定词，所以空格中的词义应该是跟decisive接近的，但为什么答案会选择D我就不得而知了，希望各位能够帮忙解答。

这题按照我自己的理解应该是填一个whimsy的正状态，因为前面有not这个否定词，而且前面serious也证明了whimsy是不可能出现在画里的，但答案选择的是C，但我总感觉这答案有问题，应该是有两个答案的，但却只给出了一个选项，我选的是AB。

这题我的第一感觉是空格里应该填负面词，毕竟要跟前面的against想对应，所以我就选择了BF，但答案给的却是AB，所以我就疑惑了。

1,题目中有个单词presumptuous，也就是否定了这个结论，即这并不是特有的问题，所以你找的对应是对的，可是你没看清题目
2，nonetheless说是个否定的好像不太合适，应该是个转折的以为，所以前后对比强烈。前面是怀疑绝对权利，那么后面表现得完全没有决定性又很不安，这就有个对比的意味在里面了
3，as serious as的意思是尽管很严肃，这是个转折，前后要对比的
4，F extrapolate在MW的意思是“to project, extend, or expand (known data or experience) into an area not known or experienced so as to arrive at a usually conjectural knowledge of the unknown area”没有压制的意思
  而A compress的意思是“1  : to press or squeeze together
2 : to reduce in size, quantity, or volume as if by squeezing”
  B manage是控制的意思，压制的意味比较浅，MW的意思是“ to handle or direct with a degree of skill”

老题可以谷歌百度关键字，一般都有解答

十分感谢萝卜须多根的热心帮主，看来我并不是很注重平常短语的积累，以前也不问为什么，总以为知道答案就OK了，但现在看来这样的学习态度是完全不对的。听君一句话，胜读十年书啊！
