College students should be encouraged to pursue subjects that interest them rather than seek programs that promise entry into the job market.

==============================================================
Main point: interest > job, for society need interest.
Outline:
1.
Student

2.
Teacher & government(time limitation curtails two paragraphs into one)

Summery
A society needs citizens of interest.

==================================================================

In the era of rapid development, every young adult is taught to be more practical to pursue their job at the expense of their own interest. However, as an old saying goes, interest is the best teacher; were students to be forced to choose career ignoring their interest, they would lose their real abilities. Moreover, when students choose the subject seeming to be promising to job market, teachers who are not major in that subjects would be treated unequally leading to an unbalanced education. What's more, government would face a plight where there is a trend guiding graduates towards one department while other occupations are neglect. The society would be in chaos if all fix their eyes on job market.

Students basing their subject choice on job market would lose themselves on the way of chasing their dreams. Though a promising job might power them up when they confront problems, interest works much better. One student following his own interest is always full of energy when they are taking their favorite classes rather a nap. Because of interest, one can certainly find oneself satisfied and content doing every problem simply because one loves it. Thus it can be inferred that a student who learns happily surely does their work more efficiently. As we all know, every occupation need talents.  If graduates do their study excellent, they will become extraordinary employees. However, if one just focuses on the seemingly prudent future career subject, he or she will find the subject not so interesting and may not do so well hence not so promising in the future battle of employment. When all students give up the chance to study happily, what will our society be? I don't think it's that perfect.

On the other hand, teachers majoring in all subjects should receive same respect from their students rather than being ranked by the norm whether the subject serves the future career. Were the some subjects providing entry into job market to be filled with students while other subject almost to be left empty, the university would be troubled a lot by the unbalance. More over the unbalanced problem would further trouble government whose duty is to make the citizens live in harmony. The easy and well-paid job would be chased while the other jobs not. Hard jobs such as researchers may be in great need because no one just thinks it is quite a promising job. Einstein and Newton may have been forced to become merchants or bank clerk because of a better career. With skilled people converting in one job area, at stake is a society not only in the past but also in the future.

We live in a society where every occupation is a building block which should not and cannot be judged useless. So students should stick to their interest on the way chasing their dreaming occupation. A society indifferent in this problem might pay a heavy price.
