The above statement that facts cannot be altered by our wishes,our inclinations or our passions pays more attention to the objective side of the facts but extremely ignores the active side of the people. According to the assertion, doing anything is futile before facts because of its unchangable feature. As a matter of fact,it is completely not the case.

Suppose that if the assertion is true, why so many scientists devote themselves to doing all kinds of reseach? Why almost all the youngster take great pains to learn as much as possible? I think,to some extent,they want to realize,change or improve something. It is well known that many facts which were considered to be unimpossible now come into reality. The invention of phone and later Video phone make people far apart in the world can talk or even see each other which ever had happened only among people face to face. And once if a child had dreamed of flying like a bird freely in the sky, he would be blamed for the adults regarded flying without wing as a fantasy. However since Brothers Right created the first plane in the world, flying in the sky is no long a hopeless dream. Numerous stories prove that it is man that changes all these seemingly stubborn things through his power. And this power comes from intellect, persistence, effort, belief and many other virtues of human being.

Another phenomenon cannot be ingored is that even for the same fact, as the active subjects,they often have different description and interpretantion which, to some extent, reflect the observer’s perspective,judgement,interests,values and the like.For instance, a simple fact of half bottom of water will also vary in different people’s eyes which some view as half full but others as half empty. To the same failue, some people consider it as the mother of success and therefore agreetably accept and then strive to try once more,however,others are defeated forever. It is deniable that happiness will always belong to the “half full”peole that is optimistic one and the successful bunches of flowers will always be related to the persverance learner. Choice is yours!

Admittly that some facts just like nature can not be altered by anyone even the most capable scientist. No one can control the sunrise and sunset;No one can creat energy; no one can escape the perish and the like. Facing these unchangable facts, what we do is to understand the nature laws and to better comform to them in order to get the biggest benefit.

To sum up, although there exists something we can not change,it does not hamper us to have the strong belief in the world that we really can change something.. Only if we hold the optimistic belief can we try our best persistently to change the world to a beautiful globe family.

以后我应该先好好的查一查，再发上来。
对了，你认为那个half-full 和half empty has no difference, 事实上我是想说它不同，至少人的心情不同。。。。。这个例子好像人人皆知，所以我只想点到为止，就没做分析。
