Check US news medical school research ranking. Maybe not a great one but at least for medical center, UIC has one of the biggest in US, just in size.

Thank you so much! So , is it a little bit risky to apply for UIC? from your experience? But I have decided to get Emory out of my list, it is so competitively superfically, but actually, that's not a good choice for research. 20# H1BMatch2012

I am not sure if UIC will be competitive or not. Also I am not from Neurology.
I heard that there are numbers of Chinese there, but they do not have a very good reputation dealing with applicants.
But should not be a very tough one as you have strong background.

21# arsenal.zhe 感觉和lz比较类似啊中国药科大学，今年本科毕业了才想出国。。。新G当场给出分的范围是1410-1510，同时考了雅思8分，GPA3.6，上半年Rutgers毕业实习了4个月，有那里推荐信，国内普通小文章两篇，这样申请美国前十名的药学系有戏吗？看到生物前景一般，就想到申请偏临床的药理了。刚开始申请，急。
